  This is an essential class for preparing a student for establishing stronger basis in learning the sitar compositions that they are taught in an individual lesson. Exercises and techniques will be studied in a method to increase mental and physical focus and flexibility.

- Individual 1 hr Sitar Class
  
  Students will learn the techniques of sitar playing, excercises and rhythmic patterns, raga compositions, tala, tuning theory and application and so on. Held in a low stress environment, classes are designed according to the ability of the student making it both suitable to first time beginners and advanced students alike. Advanced students in western instruments are also welcome to learn Indian classical music. Lessons will be available in Western notation. Skype lessons are offered to advanced students, who are able to tune their sitars/instrumetns.(All students need instruments prior to attending classes)

  This class is suitable for beginners as well advanced learners . Students receive the guidance with an overall attention in raag compositions with focus on their individual needs.
