I recently got married and Shruti did my henna, hair, makeup, and saree draping on wedding day. She has various bridal packages and she works to customize based on clients needs. I am South Indian and she helped create the South Indian bridal look I wanted. I was very stressed the week leading up to the wedding and even on wedding day and she politely reminded me to breath and encouraged me not to stress too much. She was very patient with me and I appreciate that. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and loved the makeup and hair services from Shruti. She also did my family’s hair and makeup and they looked beautiful! I recommend Shruti’s Salon for weddings and private events.

My hair is not easy as it is super thick and took over 7 hours to complete, but Shruti was so pleasant during the whole experience. She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! Also my Friend got a henna tattoo while there and it turned out just like the google picture so I highly recommend her for that as well! ?? Thank you Shruti for everything!!!! ??

After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. Thank you Shruti for giving me my shiny healthy hair back!

Shruti was very patient and worked on my hair for 5 hours. I have been to different salons and very few times I got the result I wanted, but this time the result is as I wished for so far. I washed my hair after 3 days and it is still pretty straight.

After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. Before, my hair was unruly, frizzy, damaged, broom-like, and poofy from over washing it, curling irons, and flat irons. It really has been a life changing experience since. I am so happy I called her to confirm just in time because she had an inquiry for 12 ppl hair and make up for same day . That was very impressive that she gave me the preference and not a bigger business since I called her first . Not only is she passionate about her job and goes above and beyond to make it her best effort but also does an excellent job of realizing it is such an important occassion for the bride and takes away all your worries about hair and make up . I never had any doubts and was rest assured on this front and boy it was a blessing as I had too many things on my plate . I did have my trial and vijay aunty was still exploring some new products after, which she thought might be more suitable for my dry skin . I have rosacea and she was well aware of the condition and helped me take care of it till the wedding . She did give me a brief second trial with a new product she thought might work better for my skin. She was so kind to stop by my house two days before the wedding to give me some exfoliating cleanser.She also helped me with some of the wedding planning .most importantly she helped me keep calm and really enjoy the hair and make up process . Her hair dresser savi is equally great and was able to replicate exactly wat i asked at the hair trial . She did hair for four people together at the wedding and did a wonderful job . She has an extremely pleasing personality and is always open to suggestions.

I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding and our initial hairstylist with a different company cancelled on us a WEEK before the wedding! I scrambled trying to find a hairstylist that would do 7 girl’s hair for the wedding and I came across Shruti’s Salon. I messaged SHRUTI and got a response within 15 minutes. Shruti did my hair and makeup for my wedding this month, and would 100% recommend her to any bride. Her style is very natural, which worked perfectly for me as didn't want to be caked in makeup and hairspray, whilst still managing to create a look which stayed put all day. The morning of she was very relaxed, and kept me and the bridesmaids all on track so we could get out the door on time. Would definitely recommend doing a trial beforehand, it was really good value for money. I did loads of research on Virginia-based hair and makeup stylists before deciding on Shruti’s Salon, and I am so happy with my choice!
