I found this place on chance, but was very pleased with the result. The staff are extremely friendly, great food, great service. I ordered the chicken curry (spicy), garlic naan brief, and cumin rice, which was just shy of $20 for the three items. The staff were very attentive, and our food was ready in under ten minutes. This place is a little bit of a hole-in-the-wall, and kind of blends in with the other Indian food restaurants along Rockaway Blvd, but I give it a thumbs up and would definitely come back again!

Had the Chicken Korma with Vegatable Briani Rice and Garlic Naan.... Hands down Phenomenal Flavor!!!!! Had to get it spicy spicy ofcourse and they nailed it! The Flavor was Blessed and the Spice was On Point!!! Drove 15min from Valley Stream and it was WELL WORTH IT! The Most Friendliest Owners and Workers I've come across in a while....Keep up the great cuisine and We'll be Back! Definitely Recommend Superfine!!!!

Oh my goodness...Superfine is Super Fabulous. We sampled spicy mushroom, delectable lamb chops, and a mixed tandoori. To top it off, Harpreet and her family welcomed us and served their love-filled dishes with warmth and pride. Don't miss this place!

Really delicious fast casual home style Indian food, with extremely fresh vegetarian options that are not the same dishes you find everywhere. Warm and friendly service. Daily specials are available for quick meals and there is also a complete menu. I had a thali with dry fried potato and green beans, yellow dal, boondi raita (yogurt with little dumplings), fresh whole wheat roti, basmati rice and a gulab jamun. You can eat in or take out.

Ordered Take-Out, Tuesday at 5pm Ambiance: Low-Budget, Authentic, & Homely. To some people, the store front and funiture will come across as cheap and insignificant. This enables a higher focus on the AMAZING food served. I would eat this food sitting on the ground, with a plastic fork, and a styrofoam cup! Service: As someone with zero Indian heritage, I went in with very little knowledge of Indian cuisine. Chef was able to describe her dishes with ease and conveyed the flavors perfectly. Food: Chicken Tikka was one of the best things I have ever eaten! Perfectly cooked, moist chicken, seasoned well. The green herbal oil sauce was a great pairing. Chicken Curry was excellent in its traditional flavors. The Chickpeas were fantastic. Scrambled Cheese was an odd texture, but flavors were good. Garlic Naan was the best homemade Naan I have ever had. The best way to eat the Chicken Tikka is wrapped in the naan. This restaurant should not be passed up. I will make this a stop every time I fly into JFK. Well done!

Staying around the corner in one of the hotels and spotted this 5-star Indian restaurant on Yelp. I had to go and try it. It really is a five-star place. A super nice family were getting ready for their one year anniversary of the restaurant and were not really open when I arrived. However, she told me, if I don't mind them setting up the party decorations while I eat then she will cook me dinner. I had a paneer tikka masala that wasn't on the menu and her favourite goat curry, with garlic naan and veggie rice. All very fresh, tasty, lots of flavour with just the right amount of heat. She chatted with me about how she cooks her recipes and you just know there is a lot of passion. Well worth a stop in.

Going to this place is like stepping into someones house and getting a meal that will put grandma to shame. Great flavors, warm personalized meals, friendly service and some interesting food history from the host. I'd highly recommend it.

The food here is really great and the customer service is excellent. I ordered two dishes (palak paneer, chicken tikka masala) along with the cumin rice and two naan and it was enough to feed my family of 4 with some left over for later. Everything arrived quickly and spiced mildly as requested. The owner of this restaurant is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I will definitely be ordering from here again! :)

It's been four days since I was there, and I'm still telling people how good the food was. We ordered three dishes, and I'm still not sure which was my favorite, but I am very sure that I will order all of them again, very soon. My first order from superfine was a true delight. The variety of dishes were unparalleled and everything was delicious, flavorful and authentic. Quantity was good and delivery was on time, hot and in perfect condition (it was a catering order). Right from placing the order to getting the delivery, the whole process was very pleasant. I came to this restarant to try chicken tikka and got amazed to see their vast and authentic menu, ended up buying 4 items and cannot decide which is less tastier than the other, the chef really cooks from her heart, this is my new favorite place to come for indian food. i give “7 *s “keep up the good work will be back soon.

Tried this restaurant after seeing it's excellent star rating on Google. The service was exceptional. The hosts made me feel at home. They even offered to drive me to the airport at the end of my meal. But the food was very underwhelming. The biriyani that I ordered tasted nothing like what I had been looking forward to. I don't know if it's because biriyani in the north of India is different from what you get in the south. But a decent experience overall.

We use their tiffin service and they deliver to downtown Manhattan once a week. The food is great , authentic , as close to home cooked as possible and not oily. Weekly orders can be done via text which makes things easy and you can just re-order. They are really accommodating about personalization and changes. Has really helped us make sure our kids have great South Asian food to eat regularly.

Showed up at 11:59 and thought no one was there yet and it was going to be lole all places .. (says 12pm but really opens at 12:30ish) but right then a man unlocked the door right at 12pm when the advertised. which was great because it was cold lol. I got the butter chicken and a paneer dish with 4 peices of nann and a 2 litre of coke and all together it was $33.. Which is AWESOME! I've been to Indian restaurants, gotten one dish, no rice and 2 pieces of nann and it's come to almost as much. This came with plenty of rice, like 3 or 4 servings, and lots and lots of each dish that were each only $10 and enough to serve 2. The nann was super cheap also.. but the cherry ontop was that, not only was it all cheap, it was SUPER delicious (I'm eating it rn haha). The people running it were super sweet and accommodating. The woman made it exactly as spicy as I wanted and quicker than the 15 mins she quoted me; I could see her making it fresh and it was done quick! Plenty of extra veggies, spicy add-ons, napkins and plates aswell as little thank you candies in the bag! Love this place, going to follow on FB rn!

The options are plenty with a vivid variety, very convenient to order and tastes closest to home cooked meal. The rotis remain soft(I prefer to order them despite having a rotimatic machine at home). We treat ourselve twice a month to tasty, fresh, home-cooked food from SuperfineTiffins. The other delicious part is that chef knows our preferences on level of spice and salt and makes it just so. The variety is excellent and options on proteins (paneer, chicken, tofu, shrimp) make it different each time we order. This morning’s delivery even had iddly. Yum.

I am so lucky to have discovered Superfine Tiffins! I love Indian food and don't have any time to cook, so this is a healthy yet truly delicious option: What sets this meal service apart from others is that I don't have to sacrifice flavor and spice to stay fit. (In the past, it has been extremely difficult for me to stick with nutritious food services because the meals were never spicy enough, never left me satisfied, and then I would often go to bed hungry and frustrated/eat a giant bag of Masala Banana Chips to compensate). That being said, it is also a very personalized service. The chef is not only talented and likes to vary the menu from week to week but will also reach out to you personally to ask about any dietary restrictions and/or preferences. Deliveries are just once a week, and you will always receive a text the evening before so that you know when you should be ready to receive the food. I receive mine early in the morning, so the delivery never interferes with my work schedule. I have chosen the option to receive six different veggie and protein dishes (to mix and match throughout the week), but I believe they also offer breakfast items like masala idli. Highly suggest!

It was my 2nd trip to New York and have taken the services of Superfine Tiffins for a month. I was elated with their hospitality which is run by the Chef Harpreet Sohal. The gourmet food offered by them not only increases your taste buds but their healthy meals also keep you fit as a fiddle.Although the chef suprises with her creative menu, my favourites are masala idli, omelette, karahi paneer, butter chicken, palak chicken. Highly recommend ordering your weekly meals from Superfine Tiffins. Their menu changes weekly and has a good range of non-veg and veg dishes. They generally don't use much oil and so food is much healthier than ordering in from restaurants. And most importantly everything is delicious!!

Fantastic food which is both nutritious and healthy. Portion size is great and the service is on a whole new level. They take your schedule into account and makes sure the food reaches you without any issues. Quick response and on point every time. They also allow you to switch curries for something else on the menu which most other services don't so its a big positive. Discovering Superfine Tiffins has changed my life. I used to rush home from a long day at work and cook a quick (usually unhealthy) meal or we’d order in some greasy food. That has all changed now that we get this delicious organic and healthy food prepared by Chef Sohal delivered to us each week. Each Monday we look forward to some exciting and flavorful new dishes that we’ve never tried before...and the samosas are so good that we took a cooking class with Chef Sohal so we could learn how to make them ourselves. And here’s the icing on the cake...I’ve lost weight because I’m eating better! Many thanks to Chef Sohal and her family who all pitch in to make this an A++++ quality service!

I rarely eat or order Indian food from outside as I prefer to cook it at home myself. However superfine tiffins is an exception to this rule. Their food in neither oily nor salty, and tastes just like home cooked food. In addition to this they are extremely responsive, communicative, and are always careful to cater to personal allergies that anyone may have. Most importantly they are very warm and friendly, and always a pleasure to talk too. As a result we’ve been ordering their home service food delivery every week now since the beginning of the year. If you are someone who does not have the time to cook during the week and like eating healthy food, than this definitely is the place for you to order food from.

Exactly what I needed! I crave home cooked food but keep long hours at work and don't particularly enjoy cooking so tried their tiffin service and have been a regular customer for months. Great taste and low on oil. Definitely recommend.

It's been awhile since I've had a flavourful authentic Indian dinner. Tonight was definitely the night, we had the malai chicken, garlic Naan and sambosa. Dip the malai chicken with a piece of Naan in their green chutney and taste the firework of flavors. Can't wait to go back and try their other items

Have been wishing for a good Indian restaurant in Huntington, having come from an area that had a few excellent options - and having been disappointed since moving here, surprised there wasn't better Indian food with all the restaurants in the village. So, we were happy to see a new Indian place open. A small storefront, and for a first try we did order and pickup. If you want some fresh, authentic flavorful and yummy Indian food, then definitely check this place out! We had the chicken tikka masala, the curry chicken, the lentils, and the samosas. All were excellent. YAY! We will be back! Only thing is the online menu seems a bit messed up, missing photos and a little confusing... I wonder if their in-house menu has more options as it seemed a bit limited online. That said, we are just thrilled to have good quality indian food locally now, even if the menu is small! I hope you do well so that we can continue to enjoy your food :)

Just picked up dinner from Bombay Grill and it is excellent. All white meat tender chicken, sauces seasoned exceptionally well. Generous serving size and plenty of naan. Will be ordering again for sure.

Small, unassuming restaurant open for about 6 months (previously an Afghanistan restaurant we also loved) serving the best Indian food we've ever had. Just took first place away from a restaurant we've loved in our town for years. Chicken Malai Tikka is the tastiest I've ever had, with tender, moist chicken. The onion chutney that comes with the vegetable samosa is off the charts wonderful. Tandoori chicken is flavorful and well seasoned. I imagine any dish on the menu will please the most discriminating palate.

Having lived in the city all our lives and spoiled by the likes of Astoria and Jackson Heights, Queens, as well as all the Indian food I've had at my old job near Edison, NJ, my wife and I were pleasantly shocked with the warm and fuzzies from not only amazingly delicious Indian food, but the cozy, warm atmosphere of what felt like an intimate living room setting. Our waiter (perhaps the owner?) was very welcoming, and what really shocked us was how much extra food we were just given, without asking for anything. The menu prices are market prices that reflect rising food costs everywhere, but it immediately became clear to us of the owner's generosity. We were given five samosas instead of three, and were given garlic naan without ordering it. When I asked to order a mango lassi to go, it was just given to us, even after I insisted on paying for it. These free things aside, all I can say is that we now happily have a go-to Indian comfort place to lean on to satisfy our cravings. Don't let the four or five tables fool you for a minute. This one-year-old restaurant is modest yet graceful in appearance, yet has a kitchen powerhouse that knocks the much larger House of India completely off the map, as well as the over-the-top fancy Crown of India near Port Jefferson. The chicken tikka masala, bainghan barta and saag paneer were not heavy at all, and the spices were not watered down at all! When I asked for medium spicy, I got medium spicy and not mild--another huge plus for me! The garlic naan was amazing, and the small kheer (rice pudding) that was on the house topped everything off perfectly. Get their mango lassi - you will not regret it!! We wait with anticipation for more dishes to be added to the menu over time! :)

Bombay Grill in Huntington, New York, is a culinary gem! Without a doubt, it's the best Indian food I've ever had. Bombay Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic and incredibly delicious Indian dining experience! It may still be awhile before Huntington has satisfactory Tex-Mex or Cajun or Southern comfort food, but at least we have this terrific South Asian restaurant. I had the lamb curry and my partner the Butter Chicken and both dishes were fantastic. The lamb was, well, like butter; it was possibly the best braised lamb I’ve ever had in any cuisine. I hope the chef tries his/her hand at other lamb dishes—Korma or Passanda. The atmosphere is low key and just right for the area; the service friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to Bombay Grill, and ordering plenty of take-out.

Intimate little halal spot with an AMAZING Indian fusion menu. The food is fire! So happy to try to the chili chicken which was super clean and mouth-watering-flavorful. I’ve been scouring the Huntington area for a delicious, healthy, “home-cooked feeling” type of Indian restaurant and Bombay Grill is it! You can ask for modifications and they’ll do it: spice level, more or less of an ingredient. And more vegetarian options are coming, soon! One of my favorite Chicken Tikka Masalas I've ever had. Very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Chicken tasted fresh and of good quality. Butter and garlic shrimp was also very tasty. Garlic naan and samosas very crispy and delicious as well. Will definitely eat and order from here again.

I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, but Bombay Grill is my new favorite. The vegetable samosas are flavorful, light and crispy. The chicken tikki masala is tender and delicious. The portion is quite generous. My husband and son had the lamb curry and lamb korma. They were very satisfied with their entrees. All the sauces were beautifully spiced and ideal for soaking up with some of the tasty naan. The quality of the ingredients, particularly the meats, is definitely a notch above most restaurants. The lamb is grass fed and the chicken is halal. Service is friendly and accommodating. The proprietor is a delightful person. If you want to eat in the restaurant, it can be a good idea to call ahead because there are not that many tables. Bombay Grill does a brisk takeout business as well. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant and hope to return soon.

Called to make a reservation this past Saturday and spoke to Muhammed who was extremely accommodating. Drove from Oakdale and arrived at 6:30, table was ready and we were quickly seated. The place is very small but we were comfortable and not rushed at all. Now for the food..... Chicken Korma and Chicken Mango were delicious as was the Eggplant Bharta. Spice levels were perfect and portions generous. Naan was great as well. Thank you Muhammed for the dessert and we can't wait to return.

I’m writing this review and I’m still at the restaurant just couldn’t wait to review this place. Everything we had was super delicious. I’ve been to so many Indian restaurants but by far this is the best I had. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious and my husband had the mango chicken very good. We shared the veggie Samosa which was also great.

The Malai Tikka stood out – the grilled chicken was tender and moist, with a light acidity that balanced the flavors well. The Garlic Naan arrived later than other dishes but was worth the wait. Crisp yet soft with just the right amount of garlic, it’s easily among the best naan I’ve had at any Indian restaurant. The Chicken Tikka Masala had rich, satisfying flavors in its creamy sauce, though I would prefer it spicier. It came served with both rice and naan. A solid spot that I’d recommend – I’ll be back to try more dishes!

First timers visit to the Bombay Grill of Huntington Village practically across the street from movie theater with plenty of public parking across from the Post Office. Upon entering this casual dining spot we were greeted and seated by the host Mohammed and given menus and we instantly asked him for a few recommendations which started to get our tastebuds excited! The entrees we ordered were perfectly sized for sharing 2 peeps so you can enjoy the Indian food culinary experience. Our entrees began with “Chicken Curry” which was so tender and moist with a perfect creamy curry-tomato sauce and spices. Next enjoyed “Mixed Vegetables” also with spices, onions, tomato sauce cooked in coconut milk. With all that delicious sauces we needed to order the fresh “Tandoor Baked” garlic bread and also some Long Grain basmati rice to soak up the leftover sauces and clean our plates, yummy! Our happy ending was the Mango Lassi yogurt drink as a refreshing dessert. Everything was delicious and compliments to the Chef and thank you Mohammed. We Shall Return, Steve & Sandy

Bombay Grill of Huntington doesn't disappoint. The food is very good, and spicy (but not overly spicy). Yasreen Mohamed provides adequate one-man service (along with the cooks in the kitchen). The space is small but serviceable. I managed to get a table without reservation in the late afternoon, but I recommend making a reservation. The chicken dum biryani, chicken saag, and chicken samosas are great!

Have been wishing for a good Indian restaurant in Huntington, having come from an area that had a few excellent options - and having been disappointed since moving here, surprised there wasn't better Indian food with all the restaurants in the village. So, we were happy to see a new Indian place open. A small storefront, and for a first try we did order and pickup. If you want some fresh, authentic flavorful and yummy Indian food, then definitely check this place out! We had the chicken tikka masala, the curry chicken, the lentils, and the samosas. All were excellent. YAY! We will be back! Only thing is the online menu seems a bit messed up, missing photos and a little confusing... I wonder if their in-house menu has more options as it seemed a bit limited online. That said, we are just thrilled to have good quality indian food locally now, even if the menu is small! I hope you do well so that we can continue to enjoy your food :)

Small, unassuming restaurant open for about 6 months (previously an Afghanistan restaurant we also loved) serving the best Indian food we've ever had. Just took first place away from a restaurant we've loved in our town for years. Chicken Malai Tikka is the tastiest I've ever had, with tender, moist chicken. The onion chutney that comes with the vegetable samosa is off the charts wonderful. Tandoori chicken is flavorful and well seasoned. I imagine any dish on the menu will please the most discriminating palate.

Having lived in the city all our lives and spoiled by the likes of Astoria and Jackson Heights, Queens, as well as all the Indian food I've had at my old job near Edison, NJ, my wife and I were pleasantly shocked with the warm and fuzzies from not only amazingly delicious Indian food, but the cozy, warm atmosphere of what felt like an intimate living room setting. Our waiter (perhaps the owner?) was very welcoming, and what really shocked us was how much extra food we were just given, without asking for anything. The menu prices are market prices that reflect rising food costs everywhere, but it immediately became clear to us of the owner's generosity. We were given five samosas instead of three, and were given garlic naan without ordering it. When I asked to order a mango lassi to go, it was just given to us, even after I insisted on paying for it. These free things aside, all I can say is that we now happily have a go-to Indian comfort place to lean on to satisfy our cravings. Don't let the four or five tables fool you for a minute. This one-year-old restaurant is modest yet graceful in appearance, yet has a kitchen powerhouse that knocks the much larger House of India completely off the map, as well as the over-the-top fancy Crown of India near Port Jefferson. The chicken tikka masala, bainghan barta and saag paneer were not heavy at all, and the spices were not watered down at all! When I asked for medium spicy, I got medium spicy and not mild--another huge plus for me! The garlic naan was amazing, and the small kheer (rice pudding) that was on the house topped everything off perfectly. Get their mango lassi - you will not regret it!! We wait with anticipation for more dishes to be added to the menu over time! :)

It may still be awhile before Huntington has satisfactory Tex-Mex or Cajun or Southern comfort food, but at least we have this terrific South Asian restaurant. I had the lamb curry and my partner the Butter Chicken and both dishes were fantastic. The lamb was, well, like butter; it was possibly the best braised lamb I’ve ever had in any cuisine. I hope the chef tries his/her hand at other lamb dishes—Korma or Passanda. The atmosphere is low key and just right for the area; the service friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to Bombay Grill, and ordering plenty of take-out.

All the sauces were beautifully spiced and ideal for soaking up with some of the tasty naan. The quality of the ingredients, particularly the meats, is definitely a notch above most restaurants. The lamb is grass fed and the chicken is halal. Service is friendly and accommodating. The proprietor is a delightful person. If you want to eat in the restaurant, it can be a good idea to call ahead because there are not that many tables. Bombay Grill does a brisk takeout business as well. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant and hope to return soon.

Called to make a reservation this past Saturday and spoke to Muhammed who was extremely accommodating. Drove from Oakdale and arrived at 6:30, table was ready and we were quickly seated. The place is very small but we were comfortable and not rushed at all. Now for the food..... Chicken Korma and Chicken Mango were delicious as was the Eggplant Bharta. Spice levels were perfect and portions generous. Naan was great as well. Thank you Muhammed for the dessert and we can't wait to return.

The food was amazing, very authentic. The only problem is that the place is very small, and I don't think there was a bathroom there. If anything, the place just has to look/feel like a restaurant, unless it is supposed to be pick up only.

The food was absolutely delicious! This place boasts a comfy and close atmosphere. I had the chicken korma with a side of garlic naan, which was perfectly flavored. The mango lassi was a great addition to finish the meal. The staff were extremely hospitable and made our night out very enjoyable. I would definitely dine here again and recommend it to others.

What a wonderful meal I just had with my friend at Bombay Grill of Huntington! The mango lassi, vegetable samosas, lamb korma, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and sesame (!) naan were all mouthwatering delicious. The service and hospitality from Mohamed was outstanding as well. So glad we found this place, can't wait to go back!

I’m writing this review and I’m still at the restaurant just couldn’t wait to review this place. Everything we had was super delicious. I’ve been to so many Indian restaurants but by far this is the best I had. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious and my husband had the mango chicken very good. We shared the veggie Samosa which was also great.

This little spot serves some of the best Indian food around. Everything tastes so fresh and full of flavor—you can tell they use quality ingredients. It’s a small place with only a few tables, so it can fill up quickly. If you want beer or wine, it’s *BYOB*, and they’re happy to accommodate. The owner is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely a great find for anyone who loves Indian food! ??????????

Small but cozy place with only a handful of small table. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Malai Tikka (a replacement for the sold-out Chicken Kebab), and Garlic Naan. The Malai Tikka stood out – the grilled chicken was tender and moist, with a light acidity that balanced the flavors well. The Garlic Naan arrived later than other dishes but was worth the wait. Crisp yet soft with just the right amount of garlic, it’s easily among the best naan I’ve had at any Indian restaurant. The Chicken Tikka Masala had rich, satisfying flavors in its creamy sauce, though I would prefer it spicier. It came served with both rice and naan. A solid spot that I’d recommend – I’ll be back to try more dishes!

My husband and I love the food here as well as the personal attention from Mohammed. We have visited several times and found the food to be consistently good. Seating is limited so we usually go midweek and have been able to get a table. I would definitely recommend for a casual night out. We noticed that their take-out business seems to be bustling!

First timers visit to the Bombay Grill of Huntington Village practically across the street from movie theater with plenty of public parking across from the Post Office. Upon entering this casual dining spot we were greeted and seated by the host Mohammed and given menus and we instantly asked him for a few recommendations which started to get our tastebuds excited! The entrees we ordered were perfectly sized for sharing 2 peeps so you can enjoy the Indian food culinary experience. Our entrees began with “Chicken Curry” which was so tender and moist with a perfect creamy curry-tomato sauce and spices. Next enjoyed “Mixed Vegetables” also with spices, onions, tomato sauce cooked in coconut milk. With all that delicious sauces we needed to order the fresh “Tandoor Baked” garlic bread and also some Long Grain basmati rice to soak up the leftover sauces and clean our plates, yummy! Our happy ending was the Mango Lassi yogurt drink as a refreshing dessert. Everything was delicious and compliments to the Chef and thank you Mohammed. We Shall Return, Steve & Sandy

Called to order takeaway one hour in advance, went there and been told need to wait for 10 more minutes. The worst is the food was soooo salty that we have to drink lots of water while eating it. Very surprised with the salt level as we have tried Indian food all around the world before…..

Bombay grill is a golden gem in the heart of Huntington. The food is made fresh to order with the finest ingredients. I had the Dal Tadka and the chef said he uses organic lentils. My husband had the shrimp vindaloo and it was spicy as he asked for spicy, and he was sweating! The owner gave us free items and it was a wonderful atmosphere. We will be back for sure!
