About Naadyog Academy Of Music

Classes are based on the Indian Music Standards and develop skills in two content areas: melody and rhythm. Student will develop his or her singing voice and/or technicality of instrument. We offer: Tabla, Guitar, Piano, Flute, Dholak, Dhol, Keyboard and Harmonium classes. Students continue learning basic swaras and sing simple saragams. Music literacy develops as students learn the beats and basic Talas. Listening activities include identification of swaras, talas and their movement activities incorporate basic light music songs. Students will participate in an Indian festival performance featuring traditional songs and traditional, devotional songs of the Indian culture, which is braided with the history of India and language curriculum.
