About Namitha Dancer

Namitha is an energetic and kind young lady, who has been passionate about dance since the age of 3. Though Namitha has only began studying ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance in the past couple of years, she has been training in classical forms of Indian dance, such as Bharatanatyam and Kathak styles, for many years under the tutelage of Mrs. Padmini Lakshmin and Ms. Sylvia Bhattacharya. Namitha is a regular performer in the India Association of Tallahassee’s annual Glimpses performance, and she is in her 2nd year of performing with Studio B Dance Company. Namitha has won many awards for her dancing, including consistent Platinum, Double Platinum, and overall placements for her solo performances in 2018. In addition to her dancing, Namitha maintains top grades at school and takes her studies very seriously. Namitha is looking forward to another wonderful season with Studio B Dance Company as a member of Intermediate Company.
