L Anand Patole is an internationally known artist born in sholapur, India. He studied art both in mumbai abd in New york (school of Visual Arts). Settled in New York (Manhattan), his works are shown regularly at the prestigious JM Gallery on W 57th street in Manhattan. In 2009, Patole presented a retrospective exhibition of his paintings at the United Nations, New York. This is what Jay Fillian of the Bay News of Brooklyn, New York says of Patole's work of the '70s: Futurists have been saying for the last 20 years that the spread of technology from West and East would result in a return currnet of Eastern culture flowing west. outr of this spread of cultures will come a new planetary culture, it is said, a fusion of westen science and Eatern spirtualism."
