About Tabla Workshop With Pandit Samar Saha

Pandit Saha has been performing and teaching to a world-wide audience for over 50 years. He has performed with the biggest names in Indian classical music, including Ravi Shankar, Hariprasad Charuasia, Girija Devi and many others. Pandit Saha is one of the senior most professors at the prestigious Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkatta, India. Through the school he has toured the world and played some of the greatest stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Royal Albert Hall. In 2003 Sangeet Piyasi organized the ‘Tabla Mega Festival’. This 10 day festival brought together the greatest tabla and instrumental players with a culminating performance by the great Pandit Krishen Maharaj.
