I went to Shruti’s for Japanese Hair Straightening, and I am completely blown away by my results! My hair looks fantastic!! My hair is not easy as it is super thick and took over 7 hours to complete, but Shruti was so pleasant during the whole experience. She let me pick my own music, brought me and my friend coffee, and took her time to make sure I got the best results! It was such a blast spending the day with her & I can’t wait to use her other services soon!! Shruti was very patient and worked on my hair for 5 hours. I have been to different salons and very few times I got the result I wanted, but this time the result is as I wished for so far. I washed my hair after 3 days and it is still pretty straight.

I traveled all the way from Maryland to Virginia, it was completely worth it. I had a Japanese hair treatment done, and I waited to take a shower and see if the straightness lasts afterwards, and surprisingly it did. She was kind, patient, friendly, and passionate. To sum everything up, she knows what she is doing.

After several months of not taking care of my hair in quarantine and too long between treatments, I finally went in to see Shruti and had the Japanese Straightener touch up done. I had no idea how far gone my hair was (a botched highlight attempt at a salon had fried it beyond belief) until she walked me through what she would need to do to get it back to a healthy state, along with the treatment. She was knowledgeable and meticulous. The end result is a healthy head of hair that I can run my hands through and is so soft and shiny! I drove 1.5 hours to get to Shruti’s Bridal Salon and let me tell you, it’s worth it to drive twice that to bring your hair back to life like she did mine. I had the Japanese thermal straightening done by Shruti and wow, my hair still looks great! Before, my hair was unruly, frizzy, damaged, broom-like, and poofy from over washing it, curling irons, and flat irons. It really has been a life changing experience since. My hair looks nice and straight and so much more manageable. Shruti told me what was happening every step of the way and her friendly personality made the process time fly by! Now, I can just shampoo my hair and blow dry in 5 minutes and it is straight and healthy looking. I stopped using heat styling tools all together. It was a lot of fun to get my hair straightened through the Japanese straightening method with Shruti. She took the time to explain the process to me, the after care that is needed. She also took time and did a thorough job and did not overlook any details. Yes the services are done in her basement in an insulated garage. She had the heater on and I did not feel uncomfortable. WEDDING HAIR- MAKE-UP : Shruti is amazing!! She did my Hair & Makeup for my wedding in November, and it was great! I couldn't be happier. Normally my makeup comes off pretty quickly, and I have oily skin, but it stayed on ALL day and night, and when I say all day and night I mean it. She did my makeup around 10:30 in the morning and it stayed on all night...Bottom line, she did amazing, and if I need my makeup done again, I'll definitely use her. She did very nice Updo style for my hair using beautiful Diamond jewellery. She also does amazing hair style for my 5 Bridesmaids and we definitely go to her all time for hair-make-up.

Went to shruti for Japanese hair straightening for first time to be honest i was scared because my hair dresser was out of country and i really need to get it done. But i am so happy now that i went to her she did a great job specially she use good amount of products that usually salon people try to use little by little or i would say they try to be cheap to save their products. Good experience by find her: I had my wedding last year , and i recommended by other family for shruti's salon & bridal service as they have very good experience with their family's wedding . and then after seeing her online photo albums and her long experience i hired her for my wedding hair/make-up and mehandi . She is real artist. her mehandi was so clean and integrate and detailed . my all friends loved her work , my American friends loved her art of henna, color came very nice after one or two day color became more dark as exactly she told me. She is offering wedding package and it will include , Body wax , facial ,Threading , Trial-hair make-up. so i bought this package , so i had no worry to find other salon for my facial . waxing and Eyebrows. and she made me relaxed with her relaxing facial in her Red room with candles and soft music and removed my all wedding stress. she is doing her work by heart. And you can feel it. On wedding and reception she did very good job for my hair and make-up. she has professional hands, and she did my mom and cousine' s hair -makeup as well.
