This is easily the best biryani I’ve had so far in Texas. The special biryani really stands out — flavorful, aromatic, and well balanced. Their parottas are authentic South Indian style, flaky and done right. Make sure to pick up the food while it’s still warm — that’s when it really hits the spot. I love their varieties of parottas.. Handsdowm best place in town for parottas. Also i tried their chicken 65 and Rameshwaram Dosa. Its definitely the best and suggests everyone must try.. i would definitely go try again… Best place if you are craving a good non-veg south indian food

We went here for dinner on Christmas Eve. Thank you Vinoth for recommending the Crab masala and fish fry. The pepper crab masala tasted really good and was full of flavor. The crab was fresh and spicy. The fish fry was crispy and tasty. Both dishes were very enjoyable and worth trying.

The biryani tasted just like the Salem style and was really good. The parotta was super soft, fluffy, and nicely layered—one of the best I’ve had. The boti was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Really enjoyed the food overall.

We ordered food from RR Salem biryani McKinney for our New year party and the overall experience was amazing and soulful. The food was yummy- spl mention for my favorites- Tea. Samosa. Idiyappam. coconut milk (very fresh) and White kurma. Others liked the veg kothu and Biryani too . Quality and the quantity is totally worth the price we paid. This mother-daughter catering duo is absolutely phenomenal! They recently catered a small dinner for 4–5 people, and their food had everyone licking their fingers. The creativity, originality, and freshness in their dishes are truly unmatched. I ordered the Malai Mac & Cheese and Paneer Lasagna, both bursting with incredible flavors. For dessert, we had their mango mousse and pistachio cupcakes—mind-blowingly good! Perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, just the right mix of indulgence and freshness. The Paneer Tikka Tacos were a hit—gone before the second batch even made it to the table! The Masala Corn was a favorite among the kids, and the Aloo Tikki Sliders? I’m still dreaming about them. Finally, the Gajar ka Halwa Cake—what a nostalgic treat! It brought back childhood memories of my mom's halwa. They added a brown butter frosting which was the perfect finishing touch. We especially appreciated the thoughtful accommodations for our guests with allergies. They felt so cared for and even took their meals home to enjoy later. Visited on Launch day. Got combo offer of Chicken and Mutton Briyani. Mutton biryani was Serraga Smaba rice and taste was good. Chicken Briyani was basmati rice and taste was Ok. Flavor’s were subtle and mild. Could improve on this area. Their Plano branch initial launch briyani was very good in flavor. Waiting time was probably better managed than the Plano branch. Though can improve on this space as well.

I highly recommend checking it out! Be sure to try the parotta with chicken curry—it’s a standout. And if you’re a biryani lover, don’t miss their mutton biryani and chicken biryani. Wow! So glad I found this place! The kabobs are absolutely amazing — some of the juiciest and most flavorful I’ve ever had. The Chicken Tikka Kabob and Hariyali Kabob are my top picks so far, and I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. The Bullet Naan with Malai Kofta is also outstanding! This place has quickly become one of my favorite Indian restaurants — I’ll definitely be coming back often!

Tried the Rameshwaram Dosa for the first time, and I was blown away! The dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with just the right amount of ghee that made every bite rich and satisfying without being too heavy. Best Butter chicken in Dallas

My wife and I have become fans of this eatery that serves dishes that we were used to growing up in Chennai, India. Owner Vinod and Anusha who we got to interact during our multiple visits ensure that our choices from a wide menu have the right spice level, along with suitable side dishes. The Bun parotta, and mutton biryani are extremely tasty and we will certainly find more opportunities to cover rest of the menu.

Amazing new neighborhood Indian restaurant absolutely worth a visit! My wife and I had takeout yesterday for a late lunch - Chicken 65 biryani, chicken hariyali, and butter chicken, all 4/5 spicy. Curiously enough for a restaurant that has biryani literally as part of its name, that dish was just good, not great (needs more sauce). However, the hariyali was the best I have ever had, tender, moist, and aromatic, and the butter chicken was to die for, creamy, tangy, and oh-so-spicy! We will be back for more, for sure!

I’ve visited both the Salem RR Biryani locations in McKinney and Plano, and Plano is clearly ahead in maintenance, food quality, taste, and overall hospitality. We ordered the chicken kebab here, and it was good and flavorful. However, the chicken soup tasted completely different compared to our previous visit—this time it felt more like a chicken gravy than a soup. We also ordered parata with chicken sherva, but what we received tasted more like aloo kurma with just a few chicken pieces. When we checked, the explanation was that it was “pure Tamil style,” but it’s quite different from what we’ve had at the Plano branch. The biryani was okay, but it was definitely better last time. For the raita, the initial serving was good, but when we asked for a second serving, they gave us a bad one. After we mentioned it, they did replace it with a fresh raita. Overall, there’s definitely room for improvement at the McKinney location. With better consistency in taste and service, they can match the quality of the Plano branch. keep handwash instead of sanitizer in the handwashing area.

Hidden gem at a corner side of a plaza in McKinney. We tried a few items on their special menu. the suggestions gotten from the owner is quite useful and helped us to get the right food. So far, we love most of the food we got; definitely will come back! Minor comment: if the chairs can be cleaner, it would make the atmosphere to a 5 star.

We initially ordered desserts from Chai-tany’s Delights for our fall party at home, and they were an absolute hit! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the freshness and perfectly balanced flavors. We were so impressed that we asked them to create a dessert table for our daycare’s anniversary party—and they truly outdid themselves! The variety and creativity in the dessert combinations were amazing, and the presentation was just as stunning as the taste. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, making the entire setup a highlight of our event. They also bake cookies and cupcakes for any occasion, making them a go-to for sweet treats. While they have recently introduced savory items, including eggless and vegan options, we haven’t had a chance to try them yet—but we absolutely can’t wait to order for our next gathering! We just hired Chaitanya’s Delights for a Mother’s Day dinner and were completely blown away from beginning to end. The entire experience was seamless and the food was absolutely phenomenal. We had Saag Burrata with Naan Dippers, Papdi Chaat Cups, Desi Flatbread, Samosa Cones, Malai Rigatoni with Desi Garlic Bread, Eggplant Parmesan with Pesto, and Rasmalai Tres Leches for dessert. Every single dish was a hit — creative, full of flavor, and beautifully balanced. You could taste the thought and care put into each bite. I eat out often in Dallas and have had plenty of great meals, but I’m most impressed when something surprises me with unique, thoughtful flavor. This meal did exactly that. Thank you to Chaitanya’s Delights for not only the incredible food but also the warm, professional service. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
