Tax year 2014 was a year of significant change for my wife and I. We got married, switched jobs, moved to New York City from Philadelphia, and had some corrections related to my HSA from the previous tax year that also had implications this year. I contacted Karan Malhotra, CPA and his company Agog Financials, Inc. back in March as I needed to submit amendments to 2012 taxes. I was looking to get my taxes done professionally in a short amount of time and luckily I was able to find Karan Malhotra. He paid attention to all the small details me and my husband missed, got it all straightened out and I got back over $3,000 on refund. Karan treated me so fair on the pricing and work and I honestly can’t thank him enough for the enormous effort and attention to detail he provided at every turn. He’s a great communicator; an excellent CPA, meets the deadline he promised and answers all your questions. He is very clear, concise, and exact as possible on providing tax information. He uses English very well to make tax thoughts very clear and simple. He also provide a lot of his views on ways to work with tax situations. There is a difference between a CPA and a certified tax preparer. Make sure you understand what that is and the implications of using a preparer before using anyone who isn’t a CPA. I’m probably just a small customer in terms of the complexity of my return and my annual tax preparation fee, but I appreciate that he was always available for my tax-related questions. I feel comfortable recommending his services to anyone. I've heard that the first year with a CPA can be a bit rougher than expected, because everybody is getting to know each other, loads of finances to share, and general confusion of moving up in finances by employing a CPA. This firm provide accounting services at the highest quality. It is one of service providers listed on the NC website for a complete tax accounting. I got this after a worst experience with another company to get my tax return done during 2020 and 2021. The company approached me with a discounted offer for the first time but in doing so they chose an easy route for my dependents who do not have TIN. As I found out later, the company was not certified to process TIN on behalf of the client. This has resulted me to lose $3k due to fake offerings. This time, I did proper search including the recommendation on the NC website that landed me to the current company. I was impressed by their service with advanced document processing platform, staff ready to listen your cases and consider appropriate solution and payment plan, and excellent professional service. I highly recommend the company for anyone new to the US tax system and others in need of quality service.
