Rated 3.0 At al Ajami its either hit or miss. Sometimes service sucks and you get a waitress with an attitude but the food is good. Sometimes you get terrible food and the waiter/waitress does everything they can to help. Sometimes food and service sucks.

Rated 4.0 So here is the thing about this restaurant: they have the best Mediterranean food in the area in a beautoful and classy place. You cannot go wrong with anything, but some of my favorites are the beef tongue (so soft it melts in your mouth), and the babagannoush (to me it tastes the most authentic). Try the stuffed lamb (ouzi) if you want to know what middle eastern people eat at weddings. Whatever you order, you will have plenty to take home with you as the portions are generous. Now to the cons: the waiters are very hands off and super chill. They will serve you hot bread without olive oil dip, but will disappear so you cannot ask for anything. When you're done eating, they will take a long time to bring you the bill. I understand why some reviewers rate this place poorly for 'bad service', but this is still one of my favorite two restaurants in Dearborn (Cedarland is my number one, if you are curious).

Rated 3.0 I am from Utah and came here for some amazing middle eastern food. The first time I enjoyed everything thoroughly. We went back for more and the service was horrible and dry falafel.

Rated 5.0 Did not enjoy the food. Waiters were very slow to ask if we needed any refills. Food was not warm at all. It tasted alright. Not sure if this is due to the restaurant its self or just coincidence, but i was very ill for the next 3 days after eating here. Since i cant be 100% sure its the restaurant, i just will not eat here again.

Rated 1.0 Don't ever ride your bike and come here. Manager says I have to go out and stand next to my bike while he makes my order. Makes me rush saying my order so he can get me out ASAP. Didn't say hello or anything when I first walked in. Straight up says "what do you want?" "Come on quickly tell me" like really. Have some respect to say "how can I help you" or "here's a menu". It was so hot out he should be a ashamed of himself telling to stand out next to my bike and making wait a long time to get my order. Than he signals me to come inside and get the food. Gives me my order while talking to a customer. Then says "ok now leave, bye" after I tried to say to talk to him face to face without the other customer there as it was rude because he was telling him his order and he cut him out. Never again even though they are walking distance. I deserve an apology for his disrespect.

Rated 5.0 Not sure what the rude or inattentive complaints are about, it was slow but I was treated like a food critic or some kind of celebrity and the food was excellent!

Rated 5.0 This was my first trip in Dearborn area and a friend had invited me and my family to this reataurant. I must say the food was very yummilicious and the staff was pretty friendly for a busy place like this (usually when its busy at this scale the staff just neglects the customer) but it was a 5-star ezperience and we will definitely pay them a visit again if we ever happen to be around dearborn area.
