Rated 5.0 I have been going to Kamal for the past five years now. It is by far not only the best Indian restaurant in all of New Haven, but it has also become a second home for me, where I can eat homecooked food made with love. Now that I am leaving Yale, I will also be leaving this place, which has been very dear to me.Uncle and Aunty thank you for everything - from my 21st birthday party dinner, to my senior farewell dinner with my acapella team, Yale Sur et Veritaal to all the great times I've had over a meal with my closest friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And for those who have yet to try Kamal, I would recommend the Saag Paneer, Chana Masala, Mattar Paneer, Daal Makhani, Bhaingan Bhartha, Shahi Paneer, garlic naan, gulab jamun. Honestly you cannot go wrong. This is the hidden diamond in the haystack of New Haven.

Rated 5.0 Its a great place to enjoy some declicious Indian food. The place looks completely different with the renovations. My favorites are Samosa, Tandoori Chicken, and Garlic Naan!
