About Mohini Dance

Mohini Dance Team was founded in 2006 by a group of girls who loved to dance and wanted to perform at the local Indian Students Association talent show held every Spring. Although considered the "underdog" that year, they managed to win second place in the competitive dance category. They also applied and got selected to compete in the Festival of India-an annual festival which rotated throughout major cities in Texas. Mohini has many traditions and prides itself in maintaining professional relationships with all organizations and individuals. We perform in the Austin, Houston, and Dallas communities at various functions such as graduation parties, birthday parties, anniversary parties, baby showers, etc.
