About Samira R. Noorali Musician And Writer

Samira R. Noorali is a Palm Springs-based writer and musician who began her love affair with the arts early in life. In her youth, she was intrigued by the notion of loss and wrote poems on subjects such as grief, healing and the process of transition. Her musical sensibilities were also influenced by these multilayered ideas and emotions as she studied piano, choral music, opera and Hindustani classical music. Her most recent compositions showcase a cross-culture and cross-genre sound incorporating Eastern and Western elements. Noorali has performed as a pianist and vocalist at recitals, large inaugural events, charity events, political rallies, museums, churches, state parks, music festivals and has even provided back-up vocals as a part of an eight-piece choir for a Salim-Sulaiman concert at Roy Thompson Concert Hall in Toronto.
