About Namaste Baltimore

Namaste Baltimore is your local family owned restaurant. Owners Binod and Shrijana (and their little ones!) are proud to be part of the community and look forward to sharing delicious Indian cuisine with you and and your friends for many years to come. Start with a refreshing cocktail (or two!) from our full service bar. For an equally attractive non-alcoholic option, take a look at lassi, a traditional Indian drink prepared from yogurt. Then, chose any of our appetizers, soups or salads to get your journey started. A culinary discovery awaits you as you continue your journey to our selection of tender chicken, lamb and seafood grilled in our traditional Indian clay "tandoor" oven, and flavorful curries that are meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional Indian herbs and spices. There are plenty of vegetarian options for our vegetarian friends with choices from traditional Indian lentils, vegetable curries and dishes prepared with paneer, the traditional Indian cheese.

Rated 5.0 Indian buffets are a large weakness of mine, and I think I've found my kryptonite. Having lived in Baltimore for nearly one decade, I've frequented nearly all the local Indian restaurants, and Namaste is simply the best. Decorated with a classic Indian flair mixed with a swanky modern vibe, Namaste elevates Indian food to another echelon. The food is flavorful, fresh, spiced nicely, and not overwhelmingly heavy like that at other Indian restaurants. The tandoori chicken is the most delicate, moist, and flavorful version of the dish that I've ever had. The service is outstanding. I've been here for both lunch and dinner, and both are a hit. The lunch buffet on weekdays is $12.99 and features chai tea and baskets of fresh naan that servers bring to your table. This place is popular among my friends, and for good reason.

Rated 5.0 Wow! Indian buffets are a crapshoot but this was incredible! A wide array of choices form mango chicken to lamb curry and at least half were vegetarian. Tons of condiments, fruits, two different deserts and masala tea included! I'm really impressed compared to others I've been to. Wonderful location on Roland park, near me. Shirley's. I'll take this place over hat tourist trap any day!!

Rated 5.0 Excellent lunch buffet! The chicken biriyani, mango chicken and lamb curry was amazing! The spread has both ample vegetarian dishes too like aloo matar, palak paneer, dal makhni, etc. I strongly recommend this place for weekend lunch buffet!

Rated 5.0 Namaste is possibly one of the best delivery food experiences I've had. The mixed vegetable pakora was tasty and flavorful. I'm always leery of ordering fried dishes for delivery, but this is good stuff. The chicken Tikka Masala is an all-time favorite Indian that I will always order from here. Delivery time is reasonable and the drivers have been consistently friendly and courteous.

Rated 5.0 Namaste not only has delicious food, they also have wonderful customer service. Very attentive and pleasant. I have been there multiple times as well as ordered by phone for delivery. If you don't like spicy I would recommend their lamb/chicken korma or mango chicken. My boyfriend loves their chicken Tikka Masala. Also a pretty good selection of beer and wine. If you're a skeptic, go for the lunch buffet to try a little of everything.

Rated 5.0 The staff and workers are excellent and polite. My food is tasty and there's lots of it! The naan bread is hot and fresh and delish!I personally witnessed the owner and hostess go out of their way to help me and someone over the phone with orders. They are very willing to recommend or suggest things if you're like me and not sure what to get.

Rated 4.0 Had dinner at this place on a Friday evening. At around 8pm, the place was pretty packed and lively. The waiters were very pleasingly friendly. You could easily sense the enthusiasm that usually exists in a newly opened business. The owners were making a very good effort in welcoming and attending to the customers. I had Lasuni gobi with garlic sauce for starters. It was boiled cauliflower in a deep fried batter smothered with a tomato based sauce. I was not particularly impressed with this dish. The goan fish curry I had for the main course was pretty good. Mango lassi and gulab jamun were decent. Their menu looked very diverse with a lot of Indian varieties with a good selection of vegetarian options. The best part of my experience was their courteous staff. They were super attentive and friendly. I have seen a couple of waiters patiently describing each and every item on the menu to the non-indian first time customers. I hope that they maintain the same friendly environment in the long run.

Rated 5.0 Great food here at Namaste. I make it a point to get here at least once in the rotation. So happy the best Indian and SE inspired restaurant is so close and convenient. Extraordinarily friendly staff who are always happy. The owners are great and always thankful. The food is delicious and ample quantities. I'd come for lunch buffet sometime, but dinner always become lunch the next day.

Rated 4.0 This was my second time eating at an Indian restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Korma. My wife ordered the Mango Chicken. Both dishes were very tasty. My only criticism is that the dishes both needed a little more salt. Other than that, the food was very satisfying. They provided hearty portions. The atmosphere was nice.
