NH44 was born on splendid memories people encountered in the various cities across India, starting from North to South alongside the opportunity to taste and experience the culture of the East and Western coast. The menu is curated in a way the customer gets to choose between Indian street food snack items to entree items which are rich in taste; leaving the customer to pleasantly enjoy the restaurant experience as a whole. Single serving dishes with a twist of the authentic Indian curries by serving them as curry bowls plays off as a fusion addition on our menu. Owner/head chef Sarath Teegavarapu has put in a lot of effort to bring to life what has been a dream of his for years. The chef has been working in the food industry since 2013, which paved an opportunity for him to work as the Head Chef in Flavours of Kerala for about a year. Chef has been reviewed by the renowned Ottawa Citizen for his impressive work in the kitchen. He also aspires to attend Le Cordon Bleu for a culinary program in the near future to develop his skillset and make it an asset in his career in the food industry. The restaurant’s interiors are vibrant and eye-catching with much attention to detail. Hand sketched wall mural of the monuments of India from the South leading up to the North gives the vibe of being in a bistro where the place only adds value to having a delightful experience. The restaurant is a suitable hangout spot for youth catching up with their social circle to families hosting dinners on special occasions.
