Nishani Bhangra is an independent bhangra team representing the Houston, Texas. Since 2010, Nishani has proven to be a strong proponent of community unity, Punjabi culture, and above all, the dance form of Bhangra. Having performed at many shows and many in state competitions, Nishani is now a highly accredited and familiar Bhangra team in the Texas region. In our efforts to spread our love for Bhangra and our team, we have performed at many weddings, birthdays, receptions and corporate events. Nishani bhangra has increased exposure of this Punjabi folk dance to the local Houston community but is ready to leave a mark on the international competitive dance circuit as well.
