Rated 5.0 I went for a dinner with family that I only see a couple times a year and wasn't disappointed. The food was fantastic and the service was just right. We had a large group and didn't realize the gratuity was included, so had added one when we paid our bills. We were very surprised to have the manager (I think) come right back and tell us about the charge and refund all the additional tip amounts we had paid (or as much as we would let him). Such honesty seems to be hard to find these days and was much appreciated. It is defiantly on the top of my list of restaurants to return to the next time I'm in Vancouver!

Rated 5.0 Faultless experience: the location, decor and ambiance were all excellent. The service was warm and very accommodating with the waiter being attentive to what we were seeking to provide a perfect recommendation. The food was quick to arrive, hot, fresh and perfectly spiced. I have enjoyed a lot of nice Indian restaurants and put this one very high on that list. Look forward to dining here again on future visits to Vancouver.

Rated 2.0 When I visited this restaurant in July 2013 I found in the food was good and service as well. Recently on last Saturday (16th Aug) I took my friends for dinner and surprised to find the reverse. Food was not good at all. The guy who took the order was in rush and did not ask about our preferences although we have a 2+ years kid. The person who was assigned to our table was missing all the time. And the lady who came to collect the money hit the glass and spilled water on the table. As a whole day by day the restaurant is loosing its service and food quality. You may run the business because of your location but may not see returning customers. Many small restaurants do much better than this restaurant. I hope they look into my concerns.

Rated 5.0 Happened to be in Vancouver for a vacation, and when I was starving for some good ol Indian food invited me for a lunch before I leave BC. It was a weekday, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and hospitality. Generally restaurants in a tourist location like Vancouver, BC doesn't care for their quality as most of the customers are not repeat customers. But this place really amazed me. Relatively Salaam Bombay stands out in terms of great food quality, authenticity, superior taste, extremely clean, very decent ambience, and overall good service. Icing on the cake: They have got a bar and an outstanding selection!!!

Rated 5.0 Out of all the times my husband & I have been to Vancouver, BC today was the first time we tried Salam Bombay. The selection of dishes at the lunch buffet was great & all were delicious. The servers were friendly & very attentive. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.

Rated 5.0 The best Indian food I ever had in Canada by far. Great customer service and they have an amazing variety of food in the menu. Prices are reasonable and worth paying for delicious items. Captivating music, great location and very helpful staff make this place a must go if you're in Vancouver and looking to eat authentic Indian food. 10 on 10.
