At Sitar an Authentic Indian Restaurant we specialize in North Indian cuisine. This consists of dishes prepared with gravy and curry and cooked in a clay oven. Our menu consists of delicious meat and vegetarian dishes. We have been in business for 30 years. We consistently produce excellent food and are seeing the second generation of kids coming by. Sitar an Authentic Indian Restaurant, is the pioneer Indian Restaurant in Albany. We can accommodate up to 150 people and offer both tables and booths for your convenience. Conveniently located near hotels, we welcome guests to drop in and try our excellent Indian cuisine. With our convenient location off of Highway 87 between Albany and Schenectady, we are easy to get to and well worth the trip. Our spacious parking lot holds 75 cars, and there is no charge to park.
