South is located at 600 North Broad Street, at the corner of Broad and Mt Vernon Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. South is open six nights a week and for brunch on Sunday. We are closed on Mondays and during the day, but we are available for private events during these hours (and others). Please inquire. The bar and lounge open daily at 4:00PM. Our happy hour menu is available from 4:00-7:00PM Monday through Friday. We feature an array of specially priced cocktails, beer, wine and a selection of items from our bar menu. You can also enjoy happy hour in the garden courtyard when the weather is agreeable. The full dinner menu is available at the bar and in the lounge beginning at 5:00PM. The bar menu is served until 11:00PM Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Dinner in the dining hall and at the chef’s counter is served from 5:00PM until 10PM Sunday through Thursday and on Friday and Saturday nights until 11:00PM. A special chefs counter menu is available in addition to the full dinner menu. South is available for private parties of all varieties. We have hosted parties ranging from wedding receptions to cocktail parties for Fortune 500 companies, local and national political organizations, album releases and movie premiers.
