Rated 5.0 Same review I posted on Yelp: I have been here twice (three times since first review) now. This is the best Indian restaurant in KC, hands down. I have eaten at a lot of other Indian restaurants and none of them come close, which I will definitely explain why. - Compared to other Indian restaurants in KC, Spice N Rice is the most economical for the average restaurant goer. - Not only is it priced a lot cheaper than other Indian restaurants, it gives a very good sized portion for the price you pay. - Both times I have been there, the manager/owner comes by to say hello and ask us how we are liking our food. Great hospitality. - Every Indian restaurant I have been to in KC is dark with very dim lighting. This space is bright and inviting. - Their menu isn't complicated, they offer the most popular items that people would normally choose when they have a craving for their cuisine. It's just right. The menu is also very inviting, which will make you more comfortable trying some other dishes. - The food is AMAZING. By far the most delicious Indian cuisine I have EVER had (in the United States). My favorite dish is the Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of very fresh and hot naan bread and rice. DELICIOUS. - The dining rooms and bathrooms are very clean. - I would eat here everyday if I had the money to eat out every single day. The only things I would say that would need to improve are: - A bigger space so more people can enjoy it. - I wish there was a Spice N Rice store next door so I could buy some of their items. - I wish there was one near Liberty, MO so I could go there more often. If you're thinking of going there - I promise you that you will not be disappointed! Money well spent!
