Sustainabowl is dedicated to serving expertly prepared poké and acai bowls, while incorporating the business principals of environmental stewardship, sustainable sourcing, and minimal waste into our day-to-day restaurant management. Our aim is to be a restaurant where you can get a delicious, fresh, nutritious meal – and do a little good in the process simply by making the sustainable choice. Restaurants across the country are joining the sustainable food movement and bringing it into the mainstream – and Sustainabowl is proud to be a part of this critically important transformation. Sustainabowl is honored to join the chefs, food trucks, and restaurants in Los Angeles and beyond who are making environmental stewardship a priority and changing the status quo. Over the last decade, Head Chef Justin Snyder has developed his culinary expertise through travel and exploration throughout the US, Asia, Ukraine and Western Europe. His wide culinary education includes studying at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in France, while his experience includes working as both a personal chef and in restaurants in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Hawaii. Internationally, Justin has spent time in some of the world’s top kitchens including Ta Vei in Hong Kong. Through his travels, Justin discovered his purpose – to create delicious, globally inspired food using unique ingredients that are sustainably sourced and responsibly served.
