Rated 4.0 My partner and I went to Queen Vic for Saturday lunch as we were craving Indian food. We parked ourselves as there were many spaces available and the valet guy was on his break. The food is definitely interesting...it's not authentic Indian, as we thought, but western interpretations of classic Indian dishes. My fish curry was fragrant and mild, it had julienned vegetables and fresh peas in a thick coconut based sauce, which reminded me of French cuisine. My partner's chickpea curry was also very mild - tasting more like British breakfast beans than channa masala. Regardless of the authenticity, I found the food to be fresh and delicious. The waiter was friendly and helpful and the space itself was beautiful without being fussy. I'll definitely go back and try their burgers or fish and chips, but I'll look elsewhere to satisfy my Indian food cravings.

Rated 5.0 Great selection of beer and cocktails. And there food is great. Love that you can go small plates or entrees. I wouldn't quite call their vindaloo a vindaloo, but it's delicious nonetheless. The Shepherd's pie is also delicious... The ultimate comfort food.
