Rated 5.0 Borderline 3 stars review. My partner and I are both vegan. We came here to dine after attending an event nearby. The restaurant in itself is very nice, decorated well. The only reason I'm choosing not to give three stars was because I felt treated rudely. That being said, our server was great and our drinks were never empty. A gentleman came to greet us and was immediately giving off a rude vibe. It seemed pretty apparent that he didn't think we were going to tip. Little did he know, I'm a server and don't go anywhere without tipping 20%. I asked how big a portion was on an entree and he rudely replied back "the portions are big enough for one person just like any other restaurant." RUDE. We simply weren't too hungry and thought about getting an appetizer and sharing an entree. Nevertheless, we blew the rude comment and tone of voice off.

Rated 5.0 Definitely the best Indian food in all of Ventura county. The staff is very polite and attentive. I highly recommend the lunch buffet and for from the menu: the Taj Special mixed grilled meat.
