About Vij's Sutra
Vij’s Sutra opened in Victoria in September 2013 to bring the unique flavors of Vij’s to Vancouver Island. Located at the historic Victoria Public Market at the Hudson, Sutra is both a restaurant and a market where we promote the use of local ingredients. We offer sit-in meals and drinks when you want to dine out, take-away hot meals when you’re on the go, and frozen foods that can be cooked at home – like many of the products sold at the Hudson. We also sell cookbooks, spices, naan and rice pudding. Sutra’s logo was designed to be a line with no end that is connected to itself, which also symbolizes its connection to the Vancouver restaurants. It’s bright and inviting and a great place to grab a meal with friends, family or coworkers.
