At Chili House Restaurant, we are proud to serve Fusion Indian style Chinese Food prepared with fresh ingredients. Although we are known for our spiciness, we can always adjust the spiciness of our dishes to your liking. It is also possible to alter our most dishes to gluten free. Therefore Lilian and I (Edward) warmly welcome you to visit our Restaurant and try our food. Our journey started in India. Our great grandparents and our grandparents moved from kwongdong province in southeastern China to Calcutta India almost a century ago. After living in India for about a decade, they decided to settle there and brought the rest of family from China. Our tradition in Restaurant business started during 1960s with our grandfather opening a restaurant in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in India. In 1981, we moved to Sweden where my father started working in a Restaurant in the city of Vastervik. A few years later, my father took over the Restaurant. Later in 1991, my wife and I joined my parents in their Restaurant. In 2000, our family moved again; this time to Richmond, Canada where we settled down. We entered the restaurant business here in 2003 and have been thriving since then. From our life on three different continents and with over 40 years of experience in restaurant business since our grandfather's time, we strive to give a unique fusion cooking experience to our customers here in Cloverdale.
