About Cinnamon Indian Cuisine
Chef Chaminda Widyarathna and Restaurateur Shiwanti Widyarathna opened their first restaurant in June 14, 2011. Chef Chaminda Widyarathna greatly yet tasteful plays with Indian Cuisine flavors, mixing the origins of the north Indian kitchen with the south, his specialization. Over 15 years spent mastering Indian Cuisine, Chef Chaminda's mission is to serve the perfect flavor while enchanting his clients with true work of art on each plate. Restaurateur Shiwanti Widyarathna has a great deal of experience managing restaurants. Since an early age Shiwanti has been involved with the family business in her native country. Shiwanti not only manages their two restaurants, in Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie in upstate New York, but she also participate in the composition and creation of each dish.
