About Flavours Of India Nanaimo

Founders Mehta and Kamboj came to Canada with the rich heritage of Indian culture and great collection of food recipes. After visiting so many nearby food joints they saw the Canadian love for Indian food but missed the authentic Indian flavors in food. In early 2018 they decided to fill this gap. They hand-picked a bunch of renowned chefs and cooks from their homeland and brought them here to let Canada taste the true flavours of India. Finally, their dream came true when they opened doors of the FLAVOURS OF INDIA in Jan 2019.

Rated 5.0 Really enjoyed this busy place. The service and food were great. Waitress explained the choices well and made some good suggestions. Had this great mango type slurpee along with the assortment appetizer all for under $20.00. Could only eat half of it so had the other half to take home.

Rated 5.0 The food here is incredible and I was pretty impressed with portion size in relation to the price! Friendly and helpful service was the icing on the cake. We'll definitely eat here again! P.S. I'm low key obsessed with their pakoras. Yum, yo.

Rated 5.0 The food was all delicious, some of the best Indian food I have had. Service was great as well, everyone was very friendly and the food came out super quick. Highly recommend this place, though it is very small so you might make a reservation if it’s during peak hours.
