About Indian Street Food Co

Indian Street Food Co that specialised regional cuisines from India. Authentic Indian cuisine is all about balance - balance between sweet, sour, pungent and spicy. We provides Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and have highly professional cooking staff exercises their expertise to make the blend of Indian recipes. The new wave is move from beyond traditional menus, reaching into the deepest recesses of my memories and finding dishes that remind of the streets, clubs and restaurants of childhood. My concept is a witty interpretation of Urban India, tastefully updated for trendy, no cream & butter, spice-loving Torontonians. Besides the most popular street food dishes, fragrant pulaos and fabulous curries, we will be serving street favourites likes chargrilled eggplant fries, seafood bhel, pau bhaji fondue lamb chops and handkerchief-like roomali rotis. Indian Street Food Co is my tribute to such fading restaurants in India, and to the street hawkers who are more innovative then 5 star chefs.

Rated 4.0 The chicken and beef dishes were good. The dessert needs a lot of improvement.

Rated 1.0 Call me picky but I'm not a big fan of the rude service and store bought food. There are so many Indian restaurants in the city, and the only thing Indian about this one is its name.

Rated 5.0 This is the best Indian restaurant in town. I always have an amazing experience visiting here. The ambiance is very good and they give a small glass of welcome drink. The menu has a lot of options but my usual favourites are the eggplant fries, lasooni cauliflower, chaat, kerela chilli beef for the appetizers. Butter chicken, fish with coconut rice and garlic naan. The food is just amazing. They also have tasting menu if you are confused about what to order, let the chefs make their best dishes and present it in front of you. Service is excellent and very friendly staff. Don't forget to make a reservation before going

Rated 5.0 Excellent high quality food, very tasteful and some great fusion ideas. Portions may be small for some people but to me that's healthy so I don't mind. Perfect service and i should know as our group drove the server nuts and he was very patient and courteous. Must trys: eggplant fries, kerala beef and masala chai!

Rated 5.0 To look at the outside of the restaurant you would question going. Once you enter you will not regret going in. The food, atmosphere and staff are all welcoming. For a surprise try ordering the set 3 course menu by the time the dinner part came I was almost full. Also the watermelon and ginger drink (Welcome drink) was delicious....using that for a summer drink!

Rated 5.0 Excellent food, melt in your mouth beef ribs, cauliflower was to die for...recommend making a reservation, the space is not that large and it was very busy and could be a little loud, but that adds to the atmosphere too...I'd go again and again. As they say: Tips are included
