Kinaara Restaurant

Rated 4.0 Went to Kinnara for lunch yesterday. I was pleased surprised. Kids didn't want Desi, but enjoyed the food once it arrived. I was a bit weary about sitting outdoors in this weather, but they have space coolers and ceiling fans, so we were comfortable.

Rated 4.0 Best part is the freshness of the food and quality of ingredients. Love their seerving dishes and silverware too. Called a roadside restaurant a. k. a. "Dhaba", but the way food is served, it beats five star fine dinning. My favorites are goat haleem, qeema biryani, pasanday, lukmi (appetizer, if you can call it that it's huge), khobani ka meetha, and the real sub con tea served in ceramic/ china cups with Kinaara logo, can you believe that?

Rated 4.0 Been looking for an Indian restaurant this good in DFW for years. Outdoor deck seating, terrific service and truly outstanding food. Lukhmi was perfect - delicate, crispy outside, rich inside... Every entree is delicious (special points for the goat) and the biryani rice is flawless, but leave room - the homemade desserts are stunning. Both meethas are great, but the qubani ka meetha is world-class. Even if you have to take it home for later, do it.
