About Mayura Restaurant
Chef Brar, at the age of 25, became the youngest executive chef to own and operate “Chocolate Box”, a unique pastry shop with live chocolate making and customized chocolate design. Chef Brar moved to Boston where he opened the restaurant Banq; a venture which won numerous awards, including “Best New Restaurant” by Wallpaper magazine. He also had the distinction of cooking at the James Beard House in New York City, of which he is an honorary member. Kashmir, an Indian restaurant in Boston that won the prestigous “Best of Boston” award in 2010 also attributes its success to Chef Brar, who revamped its menu with creative and inspirational dishes. After intensely challenging years in the United States, Chef Brar returned to India to work as the Executive Chef of Novotel Mumbai. Despite his youth, he has been recognized for his contribution to various cuisines by such institutions as the American Institute of Wine and Food, the Academy for International Culinary Arts, and the Mayor of Boston. He has also represented India at the WPF.

Rated 5.0 I got surprise from my husband for our anniversary to get lunch in mayura. They serve excellent food, good service. Definitely will return again and again! Paan ice cream and paneer dishes are so good.

Rated 5.0 This was our first visit to Mayura. The food served was excellent, especially KHUMB MATAR dishes as it's by far the best ever tired. We were warmly greeted by Sheena and gave a very personalized service. The restaurant has good ambiance and very delightful staff. A big thanks to Seena for making the experience memorable. Highly recommended place! The food is worth of money you spend as the portions are of good size.
