Rated 5.0 We visited Mishta for the first time, and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the freshness of the ingredients, the wonderful service as well as the beautiful decor. This is not a place to go to for a rushed meal. The hostess called it a “culinary journey”, and the meals are definitely crafted as such. We truly appreciated the attentive service we received, including the chef taking time to walk us through the menu. We ate the litti chokha (a dish impossible to find in any other restaurant here), the paneer ke sule, palak paneer and garlic naan. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we loved the fact that the paneer was made fresh in the restaurant. The palak gravy had none of that heavy cream that most other restaurants overuse in their dishes. I was happy to see that even the rice that usually accompanies entrees was cooked to perfection with cumin seeds. The dessert was a special of the day, and interesting use of flavor combinations. The place is very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. We almost wanted to selfishly keep this place a secret, just so we can always get a table here. But the love and heart that Chef Parthiv has put into this hidden gem deserves more recognition. We will be coming back to keep trying more of the menu

Rated 5.0 Huge compliments to Chef Parthiv for creating something truly special at Mishta. The vibe is modern but warm with beautiful decor that feels upscale without being stuffy. The food is just wow. Every dish is packed with regional Indian flavors but presented in such a fresh creative way. It’s authentic but elevated. Standouts were the Litti Chokha and the Amritsari Peda Lassi, full of depth and perfectly spiced. The plating is gorgeous and everything tastes as good as it looks. Surendra was very friendly and knew his stuff.

Rated 5.0 The food is excellent! Every dish we tried tasted absolutely delicious and had authentic flavors. Paneer ke Sule was good. My personal favorite was Litti Choka, that stunning sattu filling and the lingering mustard oil taste! Kaju Khoya Matar was a bit on heavy side, tasted amazing though. Gutti Kakarakya was too good. Old Monk Rum bread pudding was decadent.

Rated 5.0 I rarely write reviews, but Mistha Restaurant absolutely deserves the spotlight. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with warmth and an aroma that promises something special and it delivers. The real star of the show is the chef. You can taste the passion and precision in every dish. Whether it’s the creamy butter chicken, the perfectly spiced biryani, or the melt-in-your-mouth naan, every bite feels like a celebration of Indian cuisine done right. What sets Mistha apart is their clear commitment to quality, everything feels fresh, vibrant, and straight from farm to kitchen. The ingredients speak for themselves, and the chef turns them into magic. I’ve eaten at some of the top Indian restaurants in NYC, but nothing compares to the flavors coming out of Mistha’s kitchen. If you’re anywhere near Bridgewater area, this place is a must-visit. Mistha isn’t just the best Indian restaurant in New Jersey—it might just be the best I’ve had, period.
