I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aangara Indian Cuisine, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.
The food was excellent — truly some of the best-balanced Indian dishes I’ve had. Every item had just the right amount of spice: flavorful and aromatic without overpowering the palate. You could really taste the layers of seasoning — warm earthy notes, gentle heat, and a subtle richness that tied everything together beautifully.
For appetizers, we ordered the stuffed spinach patty, and the yogurt appetizer. Both were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The stuffed spinach patty had a crisp exterior with a perfectly seasoned, savory filling inside. The yogurt appetizer was cool and refreshing, providing a bright, tangy contrast that balanced the spices in the other dishes.
For the main course we had roasted eggplant, salmon, and tandoori chicken which were cooked to perfection. The roasted eggplant was smoky and silky with deep, comforting flavors. The salmon was tender and flaky, infused with a delicate blend of spices that enhanced the natural richness of the fish without masking it. The tandoori chicken was juicy, flavorful, and beautifully charred on the outside while remaining moist inside — exactly how it should be.
And the naan — both garlic and chili — was outstanding. It was cooked perfectly with the right thickness: nice and thin with just enough chew, lightly crisp at the edges, and soft in the center. It paired wonderfully with every dish.
The staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lovely — comfortable, clean, and inviting. Parking was also easy and convenient, which is always a bonus.
Overall, Aangara Indian Cuisine delivers not just great food, but a well-rounded dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
