Rated 4.0 Loved everything about this place. A bit of an unexpected location, in a random strip mall in deep south Edmonton, but inside Saffron has quite nice ambience. Nothing fancy, just nicely done. Went for dinner on a Monday night, with our two kids. Everyone loved it, although a couple of dishes a bit spicier than the kids prefer. Had samosas and fish pakora as starters. Then we deliberately over-ordered, knowing we would take extras home. Aloo gobi, channa masala, butter chicken and chicken vindaloo all among the very best we have ever eaten. Meat portions were not huge, but the vegetarian dishes more than made up for that. Even the naan bread was fabulous - super fresh and light. Service was fantastic. Exemplary in every respect!
