About Shalini's Kitchen
Shalini grew up in Calcutta, India, where her mother was a well-known cook, holding classes every week. She loved watching her cook, and helping her too.Over the last few years, while cooking and creating recipes (with her kids, Maya and Krish, and her husband, Mike acting as sous chefs), she often had friends taste test, and many of them expressed their desire to have her cook a meal for them and this led to the birth of Shalini's Kitchen.

Rated 5.0 Amazing shrimp Masai curry tonight. Cumin rice was perfect. Our daughter and friends loved the surprise banana pudding, which you could definitely taste was homemade. Best Indian food we have ever ordered in. Will be looking for you again on Umi.
