I don’t know where to even start on how magnificent of a singer, entertainer and person she and her husband are. I hired them to sing at my Dad’s 70th birthday party. It was truly a magical day because of them. They are more than just singers. They were like family. They interacted with everyone, played some fun games and their singing was out of this world, great! Extremely professional and their attention to detail was great. Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Vinay had the right mix of retro, Bhangra and latest hits during the DJ segment. He is also very comedic so having him at your next event will be entertaining. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. I will love to hear this kind of talent again and again.

Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. They were amazing at engaging the guests, by making it fun and interactive function. All the seniors got on the dance floor and it was really special and we made some amazing memories. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??
Mehekte Sur Jodi was more than just singing. They coordinated a very personalized theme and engaged the crowd. Babyshowers are usually games and all but this added a little variety to the event
The price is very reasonable compared to all other Dj’s and Emcee’s services out there. Vinay was great hosting our event did great job entertaining the crowd. The song selections were also great. I would love to have them at another event. It was the best decision we made to book them for our event.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.
Vinay and Aparna are amazing singers. They made our friends’ 15th anniversary truly special with their surreal performances. We were all blown away with their soul touching voices and choice of songs. Listening to Kishore Kumar classics in Vinay’s voice took everyone to the golden age of Bollywood. Aparna brought back memories of Lata Di and Madan Mohan with Abhi Na Jao. I loved how they also incorporated children’s music. They are a complete package. Highly recommended!

Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. For some reason I could not find the type of entertainment that I was looking for in the Southern California area. I am glad that I did not find it, otherwise I would never have of met Vinay and Aparna. I found Mehekte Sur as I was doing Google Searches. I flew them out from New Jersey and in all honesty, they did not disappoint. It was absolutely 100% the best decision for an entertainment vendor. Throughout the entire process Vinay and Aparna stayed in contact with me through texts and phone calls reassuring me that they will be here. Vinay & Aparna did an amazing job at Emceeing and crowd engagement. Their voices are fantastic with all the songs that they sang. They meshed so well with each other as well as into my family, as if we were related and just had not seen each other in a while. If you are looking for Bollywood/Indian style entertainment, please do not 2nd guess yourself on choosing Mehekte Sur as they will not disappoint. I was unsure about including live music at my Brazilian-Punjabi Sangeet. I originally only booked a DJ but adding live performances was a great decision. Vinay and Aparna were excellent. They understood the vibe I wanted and performed songs that resonated with everyone—Punjabi, Mehndi/Wedding classics, Bhangra, etc. Both Indian and non-Indian guests enjoyed themselves and danced. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. Vinay expertly managed the flow of the evening, and the highlight was undoubtedly his emceeing—he was amazing. Met this husband and wife duo at a friends 50th Birthday party. Wife being a Doctor and Husband being a Senior Director, on weekends, you can see them following their passion. And this is precisely what makes them different from others. I was quite impressed the way they handled and managed the entire event. What I specifically liked was, unlike other DJs where they play the songs, Vinay and Aparna sang those songs... and that too non-stop, without looking at the lyrics. This reflects their preparation & dedication towards Mehekte Sur Icing on the cake was when Dr. Aparna sang Jaudya na ghari aata vaajle Bara and Vinay sang Zhingat. I was totally surprised. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??
We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. Met this husband and wife duo at a friends 50th Birthday party. Wife being a Doctor and Husband being a Senior Director, on weekends, you can see them following their passion. And this is precisely what makes them different from others. I was quite impressed the way they handled and managed the entire event. What I specifically liked was, unlike other DJs where they play the songs, Vinay and Aparna sang those songs... and that too non-stop, without looking at the lyrics. This reflects their preparation & dedication towards Mehekte Sur Icing on the cake was when Dr. Aparna sang Jaudya na ghari aata vaajle Bara and Vinay sang Zhingat. I was totally surprised. They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. It was everything we wanted for the surprise birthday party.

I contacted DJ JT about a year and a half ago to play at my son’s wedding. From the start he was gracious and patient. All throughout, he patiently answered my multiple questions and reassured me that it will be a lovely event. FYI--We were not going to have dancing at our wedding but I still wanted a DJ for the wedding ceremony and reception and wanted JT to make the evening fun and entertaining. Which he did beautifully. He came up with ideas of music to be played during the “pheras”. That definitely added a lovely touch to the ceremony. We heard lot of good things about that for sure. He had made sure to discuss the music with me (since I was planning the wedding for the most part) and gave me suggestions, too, but also took time to go over it with my son and DIL to get their input. I appreciated that. Of course, he made the reception evening also fun by getting the crowd excited during the entry, speeches, etc. To top it off, he obliged me by playing the slideshow during reception (I had needed someone at the last minute). Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. I started planning over a year ago and he was by my side helping me, giving me his opinion and advice on certain things I had no idea of. JT was a phenomenal DJ and MC. He helped me find a photographer, Dholi, floor wrap and literally everything else that was needed for my wedding. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

One of the best decisions we did make is booking the black starlight dance floor that they offer .when we walked into the room for our pictures. We were blown away by how everything looked. I definitely recommend a dancefloor to all future clients who are looking for a wow factor. We also did get screens and lighting around the room to us. Our day felt like a movie. We would like to thank DJ jt Production for doing such an amazing job for both events we had. We have gotten the opportunity to work with him and his team. It was a very easy and smooth transition. He worked with us with making changes and also adding on items as we needed them. We even added the starlight dance floor for both days instead of one. JT was the DJ at my daughter's graduation and 18th birthday celebration. He was great with both MC'ing the program and playing awesome songs throughout the night. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. I heard about JT through my friend so I went ahead and hired him for my wedding and reception and I have to say this that it was the BEST decision I had ever made for my wedding. JT and his team were AWESOME. I’m Punjabi Indian but my husband is Dominican, so I was really concerned as to how are we going to have a great party in which we can cater to both cultures. But I had nothing to worry about all thanks to JT. He was a great MC who really got the crowd hyped up. He played music from both cultures and for everybody on the dance floor. The party didn’t stop till the end. Aside from the music, he provided everything else hw promised me which was the fireworks for our entrance, the dry ice for the slow dance and more things. Overall when I look back at my wedding, I just feel soooo sooo happy. Everything wa exactly how I envisioned it to be, in fact even better then I imagined. And I give a lot of the credit to JT and his team. Now I know if I have another event I want to host, I will be coming back to JT.

They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . Vinay and Aparna were wonderful and their entertainment was great. We had a family lunch and afternoon garba party, and everyone enjoyed the songs during lunch and the lively garba and raas music. Their ensemble was great, complete with Manoj Ji leading the ghazal front preformed very soulfully and Prateek Ji at tabla. Evening ended with live songs from Aparna and Vinay.
