Rated 5.0 Very good menu! I was impressed at the selections as I have been trying to eat fewer carbs (when I can/want to) and the selection was able to be DELICIOUS and meet the nutrition goals I was looking for. I was very impressed.

Rated 4.0 Outstanding food. Great staff. The overflow seating in the lobby is a little improvized.

Rated 5.0 What a great place to find on a quiet Sunday morning visit to the Inner Harbor. Got there less than an hour after they opened and it was already bustling. Friendly, attentive service. I had the Bayou Omelette (never had shrimp for breakfast, what have I been missing?!?) and grits with bacon. Smooth, organic coffee. All reasonably priced. Couldn't have been better.

Rated 4.0 Great food, a little pricey. Expect long waits unless you get there early. Service was excellent.

Rated 5.0 I've eaten a lot of pancakes in my 50+ years, but *never* anything like Miss Shirley's buttermilk pancakes, and this just begins the description. Consider her biscuits, which could be served at Buckingham Palace (I won't give away their secret). Then, there's the rest of that endless menu, where you will find any breakfast food you can imagine, plus specialty sandwiches, baked goods, and far more than you could get to in ten visits, all capturing the best in Southern gourmet cooking. By the way, the staff is efficient, responsive, and totally on top of their game. City restaurants have high prices, and so does Shirley's, but believe me, as one who hates to spend money, I'm going back again when I am next in Baltimore, and I'll be treating friends. No one is paying me to say this, so hear me now, believe me later, when you're next in Baltimore: DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!

Rated 3.0 Food was good, service was terrible! We waited at our table for an hour before ordering. Meanwhile patrons around us were being tended to without issue. My husband ordered a burger and it was amazing!

Rated 5.0 My husband and I were flying in for a couple days in DC and a wedding in Virginia later in the weekend. We planned on going into Baltimore for a few hours to walk around the Inner Harbor and get food. We loved this place! Blood Mary's were excellent and the coconut cream stuffed French Toast was AMAZING!! ??

Rated 3.0 I went here with 3 family members for a late lunch. I can't remember the exact name of the sandwich I ordered, probably because it was forgettable. I do remember that the menu stated that it was voted the "Best Breakfast Sandwich in America". I can't agree with that. I would assume that so many people go here because of the candy like breakfast pancakes and french toast, which is what I saw most people ordering.

Rated 5.0 This place never disappoints. The food and the service are amazing. Menu also caters to people with allergies. Vast menu. Would highly recommend it.

Rated 4.0 Service was really good. Thought the bloody marys were way overpriced. Food was just okay.

Rated 5.0 On weekends the wait will be long, especially if you have a larger group, and they don't take reservations. But the wait will definitely be worth it!! The food is on the pricier side for breakfast/brunch, but you will leave extremely satisfied. Their cocktails are also delicious!

Rated 3.0 The food was tasty and there were many unique southern choices. Large portions and rich and a price to match. The restaurant itself gave a corporate feel with staff walking around with earpieces. If you want a Cheesecake Factory experience for breakfast, this is your place.

Rated 4.0 Miss Shirley's has amazing options at their great location. The staff is very friendly and the interior is beautiful. The only issue is that they're extremely expensive, but for a once in a while celebration it's great.

Rated 4.0 We had the "Shirley's affair with Oscar" (3 stars - presentation was good, portion was small, it was expensive, and the taste was ok); "Baja skillet" (3.5 stars - presentation was good, portion was small, food was tasty); "Two eggs, any style" (2.5 stars - average all the way around), "Chicken and waffles" (4 stars - good portion, good food, good price), "buttermilk pancakes" (2.5 stars - average taste, a little dry, nice size portion but it was $10) and "Coconut French Toast" (4.5 stars - really good food and portion size). Overall good experience (service was good, atmosphere was ok) and the food was good, so I'll be back to try other dishes.

Rated 4.0 Good food. Always crowded but for good reason. The chicken and waffles are my favorite thing on the menu. Not as crowded during the week but show up early on the weekend.

Rated 5.0 This place is AMAZING! I had some type of cranberry sausage, shrimp and grits, and 2 mini waffles. The shrimp and grits took me by surprise. It was jumbo blackened shrimp on top of some grits on top of a fried green tomato, with some type of sauce that was to die for. I enjoyed the meal here, and the restaurant wasn't busy, and clean! My server was excellent. I had a great experience at this facility. Sad it's not in my city.

Rated 5.0 Very long wait (45 minutes at least), but very much worth the wait. We sat down, Emily stopped by, asked if we wanted water, told her that we are ready to order, she took our order, and we had our food within 5 or 10 minutes (wow), and food was excellent! Highly recommend them and ask for Emily to serve you.

Rated 5.0 Absolutely love this place, highly recommend! The food is amazing and delicious, the staff are pretty nice and the atmosphere is very laid back. However, it is always crowded so there is usually a wait. Despite that I still rate it highly.

Rated 5.0 On my trip, this was recommended to me by a local and I ended up going every morning for breakfast/brunch. The sweet tea is actually as good as grandma's southern sweet tea. Every person at the table got different things each time we went and no one was disappointed. Seriously, GO HERE!!!

Rated 4.0 Crab cake benedict is awesome though a little pricey. South on the border omelette is good. Portions is not as big as most American restaurant.

Rated 5.0 Everything good you've ever heard, seen, or read about this place is true. The food is spectacular and the menu is mouth-watering. Oh, were I able to afford the time, money, and calories to eat here every day. Everything everyone in our party of 3 ate was thoroughly enjoyable and perfectly prepared. They also have gluten-free bread which can be used to substitute for other breads on sandwiches. Looking for my next excuse to have a meeting there.
