About Sunsea Music

My name is Dinsan vanniyasingam, and i am the founder of sunsea music band and academy. i am one of the 493 individuals who had traversed the pacific ocean on the mv sunsea ship and landed in Vancouver, British Columbia on august 13th, 2010; it was a very long, four month journey. i studied music extensively and meticulously at many private colleges as well as the prestigious university of jaffna. As a professional tab list, I am actively involved in many cultural events in Toronto along with various bands. i am starting a new music band and academy named Sunsea music band and academy in remembrance of the ship that I had travelled in; the reason behind this naming is to raise awareness of the struggle encountered by many of our Tamil citizens. Through this band and academy, i would like to share the music knowledge that I have gained throughout the years, discover and showcase hidden talents, use state of the art technology to bring out amazing musical performances, and educate the younger generations about our Tamil heritage and culture.
