Rated 5.0 Recommended to my by two friends who love Indian and grew up with it, this gem of a restaurant is close to Charlotte that is just as good as anything I've had in NYC or England. Excellent, friendly service, and amazing food. The curry dishes can be ordered on a heat scale of 1 to 10. The decor is new and very clean, they have a full bar with a great selection Indian beers, the manager had me try a Haywards 4000 that was well balanced with some serious gravity. The Chicken Korma was a perfect balance of sweet and buttery, the Tika Masala was creamy and delicious and the Lamb Vindaloo was sensational! Portions are generous, and the kitchen staff wowed us with our choices. We'll be back!

Rated 5.0 The food is phenomenal full of flavor and authentic indian taste. The service was great, great quiet place to have lunch or dinner. Since I discover this amazing restaurant I been twice in one week.

Rated 4.0 I'm not a connoisseur of Indian food, but I really like this place. My Indian co-workers like it as well. They have a great lunch buffet. Limited seating inside, outdoor patio seating is available too.

Rated 2.0 I came in half an hour after they opened their doors and the buffet was 90% stocked. When I went to get my plate I was told that the manager/owner/whoever didn't allow people to eat until all the food was out. So I sat there like an idiot for 10 minutes until I was "allowed" to eat the food I paid $10 for. I should have just walked out when I was treated that way. The chicken tasted like rubbery skins devoid of meat tissue. The other dishes were alright, I guess their main problem is skimping on the meats to cut costs. The two waitresses were loud in their conversations with one another and weren't attentive of my drink, which is a problem when it comes to spicy Indian cuisine.

Rated 5.0 My husband and I stopped at Zaika last night to have dinner on our way home from Charlotte and are so glad we did! Our taste buds received a very welcome treat as we enjoyed the delightful, authenic dishes of Chicken Tikka and Shrimp Masala, along with Naan bread. The perfect blend of spices, the succulent meat and extremely flavorful sauces were delicious! The service we received was top notch! The owner visited our table and made us feel right at home, even presenting us with some Gulab-Jamun (dessert) to try. It was a small, special dough, fried and served with a sugared sauce. Wow, never underestimate the deliciousness of a dessert by its size! It packed a delightful punch! Can't wait for our next visit to Zaika's!

Rated 5.0 Have been to this restaurant twice and both times for buffet. None of the items were disappointing. They make delicious food and more items in buffet for reasonable price. Me and my friends drove from Charlotte and it was worth the drive. My fav items are poha, egg curry with white rice, goat curry and desserts..

Nothing is overlooked from the beverage to the choices to include in the selections..what should one have first, second & third. Not sure how to approach the food for best taste result? Singh and his servers will suggest ways to maximize your taste experience . ZAIKA means "taste"! You will not be disappointed.

Rated 5.0 Finest North/South Indian Food available. Good for Vegetarians. Prompt service. Decent atmosphere in/outside. Must try if you miss the taste of home food.

Rated 5.0 Excellent food! They allow you to select from a spiciness rating of 1 to 10, with 10 being the hottest. I ordered mine at 5 and it was perfect with a moderate amount of heat. The staff was a little rigid at times but otherwise friendly enough.
