????? My dining experience at *Kathmandu to Delhi* was exceptional, and I recommend it highly enough! The *Chicken Thali* was an absolute delight—each component was bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. It was a true culinary journey that left me craving more. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my visit. A special shoutout to *Namaraj Pandey*, who handled everything from the moment I walked in until I left with such professionalism and warmth. His attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine care elevated the entire experience. The combination of delicious food, a cozy ambiance, and impeccable customer service makes *Kathmandu to Delhi* a must-visit. I will undoubtedly be returning and bringing friends along to share this gem of a restaurant. Thank you for an unforgettable dining experience!
Loved the food, ambience and vibes! Chatting with Jenito in Konkani and his hospitality was great! Would recommend the momos, dal makhni and biryani ??
High Scale new Indian Restaurant in Bay Area. Tasty food and extra nice ambiance ??????
This is my first time at this restaurant. I love Indian food, and my husband and I came here to try something different. We've always ordered chicken tika masala elsewhere. Everything we tried here was delicious: chicken momo, vegetable puloa, goat curry, and my all-time favorite, mango lassi. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. We loved the way they served us. The only bad thing was that I got full and couldn't eat any more. The atmosphere is very calm, and the decor and design are beautiful and cozy. We'll be back. ????
first time experienced with this place yesterday My happiness was burst out when i had hakka noodles and machha fry .now its been my fav place for hakka noodles and machha fry i never had such a different taste hakka noodles before in california where ever i had been .Services was also good. But as baby parents i would like to suggest you to put diaper change station in restroom which help moms a lot ??.love this place n all foods.Thankyou
Loved the food . It’s very fresh and amazing taste . Also the staff are very good and beautiful presentation of food . I was so busy in eating I forgot to capture the pics . Tried their veg sweet corn soup , momo and veg Korma and Naan . Will definitely visit again this time with bigger crowd . ??
We went to Sunnyvale From Bay Area to visit our friends. It was first our first experience at Delhi to Kathmandu with my friends and family. Navaraj Dai was one of our host, he took care of our needs & concerns. Great Hospitality and service with fine Nepalese food taste. We Loved the Tandoori Momo, it was one of the best. Highly recommended for Nepalese Cuisine lovers.????
Vegan / Vegetarian review ?? Their Samosa Chaat is out of this world! Incredibly tasty. It like bhel puri with crushed samosa rather than a regular samosa chaat (I liked this way more). I requested them to make it vegan without yogurt (you can ask for yogurt on the side, recommend this as I think it will taste better without the yogurt). It just costs $9.99 during their happy hour Mon-Thu, 3pm to 5pm. It's also a good place to work there (use it like a coffee shop) as it's almost empty / and they provide WiFi. The service was great and the ambience and music was pleasant. ?? Request to the Restaurant: Hope you can add vegan tofu dishes or vegan butter chicken (with mock meat) for those of us who can't have dairy or meat, if possible! ????
Must try??? Avocado Chaat ?? Malai Kofta ??? Chili Garlic Naan Rasmalai *best* Spicy sauce ( side ) The service and the food were amazing! They were very accommodating and kind!
A true hidden gem in downtown Sunnyvale! I stumbled upon Delhi to Kathmandu Restaurant & Bar recently, and it far exceeded my expectations. The combination of authentic Indian and Nepali flavors, beautiful interior design, and very reasonable prices make it one of the best finds in the South Bay. ? What I Loved The atmosphere is elegant but cozy — colorful Nepali and Indian décor, vibrant wall art, and a full bar that feels upscale yet relaxed. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the staff were happy to adjust spice levels and explain dishes. We ordered: • Tandoori Chicken – juicy, smoky, and perfectly grilled. • Malai Chicken Tikka – tender and creamy with subtle spices. • Rack of Lamb – outstanding! Cooked to perfection and full of flavor. • Garlic Naan – soft, fluffy, and perfectly crisped. • Coconut Rice – fragrant and a great pairing with the meats. • Chicken Tacos – fun Indo-fusion twist with great presentation. Every dish arrived sizzling hot and beautifully plated. The flavors were vibrant without being overpowering — you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. ?? Value For the Bay Area, the prices are surprisingly affordable given the quality, portions, and setting. Comparable restaurants nearby charge much more for a less impressive experience. • Authentic flavors with both Indian and Nepali dishes • Beautiful interior and comfortable seating • Friendly, attentive staff • Great value for the quality • Not too crowded even on weekends — easy to get a table without a long wait • Plenty of free parking nearby ?? Overall A stylish and welcoming spot that deserves way more attention. Whether you’re craving rich Indian curries, Nepali momos, or smoky tandoori platters, this place nails it. Easily one of the best hidden gems in Sunnyvale — I’ll definitely be back and bringing friends next time.
Went to check out with colleagues while in the Bay Area for a team dinner and wow—what a blend of bites! Authentic Nepalese steamed momos that burst with juicy filling, Hakka noodles tossed to perfect wok-char, rich Indian curries that warms the soul, and sizzling tandoori that arrive with a dramatic hiss and a smile. The food is bold, comforting, and full of home-style goodness. Space is a bit cramped, but the food makes you forget the crowd, whisking you straight to India with its yummy, flavor-packed gastronomic delights!

[Sunnyvale] Fully booked even on weekdays! ???? Enjoy authentic Indian and Nepalese spice dishes in downtown Sunnyvale! ? This restaurant, located on Historic Murphy Avenue in downtown Sunnyvale, specializes in Indian and Nepalese cuisine. Even on weekdays, it's packed with customers, proving its popularity among locals! [?? Must-Try! Extensive A La Carte Menu] In addition to curry, they offer a wide variety of a la carte dishes that go perfectly with alcohol. This time, I ordered the Tandoori Momos (Nepali-style dumplings) and Dal (bean) curry. Tandoori Momos: The spicy sauce and juicy filling are amazing! ?? A flavor that pairs perfectly with beer or lassi. Dal curry: Rich and flavorful, with the umami of the beans infused into the dish. It paired perfectly with the naan. ?? [??? Tips on choosing the spiciness level] This dish is quite spicy! ?? I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I ordered mild, but it still had a strong, spicy kick! However, it wasn't just spicy; the aroma and depth of the spices made it a delicious meal, even though I was sweating. ?? If you don't like spicy food, you might want to choose the lowest level (mild) or request something closer to no spicy when ordering. [?? Atmosphere & Location] The restaurant is clean and has a carefully designed, exotic, and relaxing atmosphere. ? You can dine in a beautiful restaurant while enjoying the bustle of downtown, making it perfect for a date or chatting with friends. I'm impressed that you can enjoy such authentic spicy food in Sunnyvale. I'll definitely be back!

Visited couple of days ago and experience was fantastic. From welcome to goodbye, everything was perfect and unforgettable ?? Highly recommended
Our server, Jenito, was great, quick to accommodate any requests we had. We got our food quickly and it was delicious.
Amazing taste of food, nice behavior of staff and environment was so good. Overall great experience with them. ?? Recommend
The food was incredible. Best food I've eaten in a while. The service however was awful. We walked in around 11:03 (restaurant opens at 11), a man told us they were closed, and they needed 10 more minutes. So we just waited outside in the rain for a while. Then instead of coming outside and letting us know we can come in like any normal person would do, we waited a while then I asked if they were open yes and he sat us. The service was garbage, food was amazing.
Absolutely loved the vibe here. The service was friendly and the food? So good. Totally worth it.
just tried 2 weeks ago, experience was fantastic, highly recomended
Nice food thank you so much
We came to celebrate my son's birthday and we have no complaints. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the portions are perfect for ordering several dishes to share. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The place is lovely and highly recommended.
Jenito is great !! Really loved the service!! Food is very delicious!!
We dined with friends. It’s best place for late night Spot. Best Indian Restaurant in Sunnyvale . I liked milk tea.
Amazing food.. This is our second time.. We love Avocado chat and overall food
Veggie korma and naan were amazing
Amazing food, one of the best Indian food I've had in the Bay area. The staff is nice but could be a bit more respectful. Example one of the waiters was watching loud videos behind the bar which we could hear.
The food tastes great. It is always good service by Sweden and Jenito.

We ordered multiple dishes which all tasted the same as the gravy was the same. Everything tasted very sweet. Even other dishes were very bland and no flavor at all. We will not be going back as there are many options in the area.
excellent service friendly staff we will definitely come back
Great experience Delicious food and excellent service we will back soon

Best Samosa chaat in SF Bay Area. We will back again with family.
Nice place with good taste… we tried mutton bhuna roast and biryani ; taste was good. Bhuna was spicy and nicely cooked.
We tried this place for dinner and ordered Hakka noodles, tandoori chicken momos, veg Momo’s and samosa chaat. The decor of this restaurant is amazing. Very few Indian places in Bay Area that are reasonably priced and have a good decor. The hakka noodles were really flavorful. I wish the noodle were a bit thin but otherwise well prepared and good amount of vegetables in it. The tandoori Momo’s while were good, they did not have a strong flavor of tandoor. Hailing from Delhi that’s one thing I missed about the Momo’s here. Nevertheless they are still good Samosa chaat was pretty average. The Indian drinks menu is really good and must try

Not bad not good. Definitely not the same flavors like back home
The food was really tasty and honestly reminded me of home. As a student living in the USA, this place helped a lot with my homesickness. Definitely coming back again.
Sweesanth was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make sure the food and ambience was great. We went during happy hours with my 5 month old baby, and was looking forward for lunch, they were nice to serve us lunch menu even thought the kitchen was closed for it. That was kind. Will recommend this place
I am Nepali, I went there for 1 week vacation and I really liked this restaurant. The food tasted authentic and reminded me of home. The momos were delicious and well-seasoned, and everything felt fresh. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I would definitely come again and recommend it.
Really enjoyed the food here a couple of weeks ago. Everything was well prepared, full of flavour, and served hot. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the place felt clean and comfortable. Overall a very good experience and worth visiting again.
I really enjoyed the quality of the food here a few days ago. Everything was well cooked and satisfying. Clean environment and smooth, friendly service.
Tried the Chicken Steam MoMo and really liked it. The momos were soft, juicy, and full of flavour, with a fresh and well-seasoned filling. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the overall environment was clean and comfortable. Definitely worth trying.
The experience was incredible ??. Yesterday, we had a great day with our family. I enjoyed Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, and Nepali Momo. The table service was quite quick. Highly recommended this wonderful location ??????.

Looked busy when we walked in, however no greeting..??..everything happening in rush. Food looked and tasted good but the servers were anxiously waiting to pick up the plate as soon as last piece of meal from the plate was picked up.. common, I wanted to eat that salad too but could not since they already picked up my plate. Lol
Nice place with good food. Everything tasted fresh and well cooked. Staff was polite and service was smooth. Overall a pleasant experience.
Enjoyed my visit a few days ago. Food was tasty, portions were decent, and the environment was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would visit again
Solid spot for a reliable meal. Portions were generous, prices felt fair, and everything came out hot and well prepared. No rush, no chaos, just smooth service and a relaxed setting. Easy place to come back to when you want good food without the fuss.
Delicious food, great service.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and excellent customer service. My family enjoyed all our dishes. Even my 8 year old enjoyed everything, especially the chicken tacos starter. Wonderful experience, highly recommend this restaurant.
Love the food and service. Highly recommended.
Great place! We stopped by on our way to our getaway and we loved it! Good food and great customer service! Very authentic
Best restaurant for Indian food, love it
“Absolutely delicious! A perfect blend of authentic Indian and Nepali flavors. The momo is a must-try, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. One of the best dining experiences in Sunnyvale!”
Good indo-chinese food -- we got hakka noodles, veg tandoori momos, wai-wai chatpate, and the baby corn gravy, and every thing was tasty!
food is absolutely delicious. I've tried the shahi paneer and the chow mein with vegetables, both were some of the tastiest dishes I've ever had.
waitstaff were fantastic, the ambience was wonderful, and the food was delicious… we’ll definitely be returning. Jenito, our server, was excellent
Kitchen momos were juicy and flavorful-probably best I've had in sunnyvale
Chicken biryani was aromatic, with rice cooked to perfection.
Went to have dinner with my friends. Really liked the service and the atmosphere. I really liked the avocado chat masala . We ordered mutton biryani which was really big portion and I really liked it too .. Naan was really fresh snd good too. Overall really good food with good atmosphere and definitely recommend too other people.
One of the best Nepali-Indian food in south-bay. This place is momo heaven. We came for a “light meal” and left feeling like I needed a nap and a membership card. The momos slap, the curries hit even harder, and then the biryani was just wow. (Portion is generously good). The staff treats you like family. Go hungry — you’ll thank me later.
We tried Chow mein and Kukhura Ko Sekuwa which was delicious and the quantity was ample.
Great little spot on Murphy street in Downtown Sunnyvale that I had somehow managed to not try until today. It was delicious. We tried the momos and chow mein. Great flavors with medium spice. Interesting drink options including some cocktails. Good service and reasonable pricing. Servings were massive.
Food is good taste wise. Half of the items were unavailable on a sunday evening so that was kind of disappointing. Menu is limited for vegetarians.
Easy parking, great atmosphere, and excellent service. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the Avocado Chat, Egg Wai Wai Soup, and Veg Soup Momo. Everything tasted amazing. Highly recommended.
Our family had dinner at Delhi to Kathmandu on Friday. We ordered Chicken Chowmein, Okra Masala, Avocado Chaat, and Chicken Momo. Every dish tasted fresh and well prepared. The Okra Masala stood out the most. The ambience felt pleasant and welcoming. Prices were reasonable and not expensive. We recommend a visit.
Tried the Hot Momo Thukpa Soup and it was really good, flavorful, hot, and very comforting. The staff was friendly and attentive, service was quick, and the place had a clean, welcoming vibe. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!
The jhol momos were very interesting!
Best Indian food! We had Avocado Chaat, garlic naan bread with butter, tandoori fish and lamb tikka masala. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good Food and great atmosphere.
Very tasty food. Wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Very fair prices. Lovely staff.
Really delicious.! Very happy about this find. Will come again!
We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! We ordered Chow Mein, Tandoori Momos, and Chicken 65, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and each dish was perfectly cooked. The Tandoori Momos had the perfect balance of spice and smokiness, and the Chicken 65 was crispy yet tender. Special shout-out to our waiter, Jenito, for his friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and great service!
Tried the Gobi Manchurian and Garlic Butter Naan, and both were delicious. The Gobi was crispy and full of flavor, and the naan was soft with the perfect garlic butter taste. Friendly staff, smooth service, and a clean, pleasant environment. Definitely worth visiting!
Chicken Tandoori MoMo and Veg Jhol MoMo were very tasty!! Very nice restaurant on lovely Murphy Street. Pretty interior! Manager and waiter both were attentive and welcoming. We will definitely visit again! Pleasant instrumental music in the background :) Side note I have been adding these days - they do have Diaper changing table in Restroom! Big thank you for understanding one of the important need of family restaurant!
Great ambiance, amazing food for veg and non-veg! I would highly recommend and will visit again!
Good ambience. Great service. Awesome food
The food was very good. Shrisanth provided excellent service.
Srisanth was an incredible server! The momos were top class! Will come again
Absolutely delicious! I'm from London but have been living up in the Sierra Nevada's for 5 years. Have been absolutely craving some proper delicious Indian/Nepalese food and this place really hits the spot. Firstly, really cute cozy atmosphere with very comfortable seating. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Our server made great recommendations and helped me get my favourite dish adequately spicy without blowing my face off. Really good selection of food and drink. I don't think there was a single thing on the menu that I wouldn't have ordered. I had a Rogan Josh, really tender cuts of lamb, no suprise fatty pieces and curry was divine, didnt have the oil layer you usually see on lower quality restaurants. Our server brought me some of the spice on the side so I could adjust to my taste which was an awesome addition! Naan bread was great - slightly crispy paired great with the curry. My husband had the chicken momo and loved it! We had our 4 year old with us and staff made sure she had something she enjoyed and even brought out some ketchup for her which was a nice touch. We are moving to the area in a few weeks and this will definitely be our new favourite spot in Sunnyvale. Really good value, very fair pricing, excellent food and service. If you are on the fence, go, you won't regret it. Thank you guys for a great meal we will see you again soon!
The malai kofta is an extremely well prepared dish. No where in the Bay Area can you get it as good as here. It reminds me of the ones I used to eat in my childhood back in India. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and the service is top notch and the attention to detail to customer needs is commendable. I highly recommend this place if someone was to try high quality Indian food in the Bay Area.
I had my birthday dinner here and had a fantastic time! Food: The portion sizes, especially the biryanis, were a lot bigger than expected - you’ll get what you paid for. Flavors were 10/10. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. The orders in our group included gobi manchurian, paneer 65, paneer biryanis, chicken biryani, pumpkin and bamboo curry, salmon tikka masala, and lamb rogan josh. The favorite of the night was the gobi manchurian. They even gave us some extra rice on the house due to a slight misunderstanding, even though they really didn’t have to. Service: The servers saw me holding a cake and asked if it was my birthday - hearing so, they got the party started and played the birthday song for the entire restaurant, got a laser show started, provided candles, and ensured we had everything we needed. Atmosphere: Beautiful decor, lively vibe, friendly and attentive staff. Thank you for a wonderful birthday!
Good food and great service. Chicken tandoori Momo was excellent. Sekuwa wasn’t traditional but more like tandoori chicken, still good. GOAT dum biriyani was good too. Service members were the best.
We got takeout for the second time. The naan is the best we’ve had. Every dish was well prepared and tasty. It was packed well for takeout and stayed hot until we ate it.
One of the best mango lassis and garlic naans I've ever had. Incredible all around
Was an amazing experience with some amazing food, service, and atmosphere. We ordered the Pani Poori, Tandoori Paneer, and Veg Steamed Dumplings. The Pani Poori was so delicious that we ordered a second one. The paneer dish was extremely soft with some delicate flavors. The momos had great wrapping and tasty sauce accompaniments. For our main course, we ordered the Hakka Noodles and Fried Rice. Was so tasty and the quantity was quite much. Overall, Delhi to Kathmandu was an amazing culinary experience!
Had a great experience here. The food was fresh, well cooked, and full of flavour. Service was polite and efficient, and the place itself was clean and comfortable. Everything felt well managed. Would happily come back again.
I have a great Experience with you guys ....love it

I tried the momo platter and the chicken tikka masala, both bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, making it a must-visit!
Really good food and has a great ambience. Would highly recommend this to anyone! Great service.
We Ordered Thali, Aloo Parata and Chowmein. Thali was just ok , Aloo Parata was bad and Chowmein was ok as well .
I absolutely loved the place the hospitality was amazing and the naan and paneer was one of my favorite dishes
I went there for my friends birthday. It was the best Indian food I've ever had. Would definitely recommend, and I'm gonna be taking my family here.
Absolutely loved this place! The momos were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. it The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The cozy vibe and authentic flavors made the whole experience unforgettable. You should definitely try this place.
Wow another amazing lunch at this beautiful new restaurant! Enjoyed every bite of our chicken momo and crispy crumble fish, and once again excellent top notch service from Bala. Thanks Bala!! We will be back to try more things and highly recommend everyone comes to try their tasty dishes…
Newest addition to Sunnyvale downtown. Great food & service. Some of the items are very unique to this place only especially the nepali items. Will be back soon again to try new items.
This Restaurant is located at the heart of Sunnyvale is one of the ??Great place to have Indian and Nepalese cuisine nearby Sunnyvale. I have an amazing experience here. The food is so delicious and inside interior is beautiful. The owner is also great person to take care the customer. Highly recommended.
I went there for my friends birthday, and it was a great restaurant. Ambience and service was really nice, as well as the food. Would absolutely recommend for some great Indian and Nepalese food.
I recently visited Delhi to Kathmandu with a group of friends, and it was an amazing experience! The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff made us feel so welcome. The environment is super nice, cozy, and family-friendly—perfect for any occasion. The food was absolutely delicious, and it’s easily one of the best Indian and Nepali restaurants in town. You should definitely try the Thali, a traditional Nepali dish—it’s an incredible blend of flavors that you won’t forget. If you’re looking for great food and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Delhi to Kathmandu is the place to go!
Delhi to Kathmandu recently opened in Sunnyvale Downtown. It has a nice ambience and good service. We loved their Dal makhni, which was the star dish of our night and very close to what you’d expect in Delhi. Jhol momos were good. Gobi Manchurian however, lacked in flavor, and garlic naan’s texture could be better. Overall, it was a nice evening out.
We tried the authentic veg momos, fusion paneer tacos and the saag paneer! Everything was on point right from the food to service! Highly recommend this place and you’ll always wanna keep coming here. Bala was a great host and ensured we had a great dining experience.
Not only convenient, but it’s also authentic spot to catch up. You’ll be nostalgic when you pop up Gorkha beer as you used to do in home country, Nepal. Beer straight from Mt. Everest. Cheers guys!!!??????
Recently visited a Nepalese and Indian restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale with my uncle, and it was a memorable .The restaurant had a welcoming ambiance, combining warm decor with soothing music that set the tone for a relaxing evening. We started with the Chicken Tikka salad and fried shrimp .The salad was fresh, with perfectly spiced chicken tikka pieces, complemented by crisp greens and dressing. The fried shrimp was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce that enhanced the flavors beautifully. For the main course, we ordered Chicken Tandoori , Garlic naan and Gobi aalu matar .The naan was soft and fragrant, with just the right amount of garlic to make it irresistible. The chicken tandoori was the star of the meal—succulent, smoky, and bursting with flavor. The Gobi Aalu Matar, a hearty vegetable curry with cauliflower, potatoes, and peas, was well-seasoned and comforting, perfect when paired with the naan. For Drinks we decided to order virgin mojito and cranberry juice .The mojito was refreshing with a perfect balance of mint and lime, while the cranberry juice was chilled and served just right. Both drinks complemented the meal wonderfully. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we were well taken care of without being intrusive. The service was prompt, and they made excellent recommendations that added to the experience. This restaurant is a gem in downtown Sunnyvale for anyone who loves Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The food was flavorful, the portions generous, and the prices reasonable for the quality offered. I would highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again!
So great! Had the dal makhani and Chana masala. Both were flavorful and prepared perfectly. Garlic naan was perfect. Service was friendly and prompt. I’ll be back (a bunch)!
I visited this restaurant with friends after a recommendation from a foodie friend. Parking was easily accessible, and I was able to park right outside. The staff were friendly, and the cocktail drinks were great. The food was delicious, and the mo:mo were the best I’ve had in a while. We also had Nepali dhali and kebab, which were equally amazing. I highly recommend this place for happy hour with colleagues, lunch, or a friends and family get-together.
In fact, if you are a foodie, this place will definitely be a good fit for you. A great family atmosphere, delicious Nepali, Indian , Indo-Chinese food, and a fun bar in the heart of the city Sunnyvale Downtown, California. This place is definitely a good fit for you. We had couple of drinks and some foods but food was literally wowoo, loved it........Five Star?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
One of the best indo-Nepali food I have tried in bay area. This is our first time here and this taste opened door for the further visit. Khasi ko bhuttan is so good. Portions of every meal is fair with this pricing.
The experience was great. Desi owned fine dining restaurant at the heart of Sunnyvale. The service was good, food was great, and ambience is cool/ relaxing. The place was a bit crowded when we arrived and had to wait for a few minutes, but it was totally worth it. We bad lamb korma and thali and momos and chilly. The restaurant also has a bar… it makes it easier to grab some cocktails as well. Would recommend totally to try once at least when in Sunnyvale. Must try for ethnic nepali cuisine.
I had dinner here. The service was good and the food was great. I loved the momos here. We are definitely coming back.
Great food. Okra is amazing. Salmon was fab. Must go!
Great food and great service!! Bala was very welcoming and helped us celebrate a special occasion!! The ambiance in this restaurant was amazing as well.
It was a memorable experience at Delhi to Kathmandu Restaurant & Bar. The Tandoori Momo and curry were exceptionally delicious, truly showcasing some of the best Indian cuisine.
Thank you so much to Delhi to Kathmandu Restaurant and Bar in Sunnyvale for the amazing food! The food was so authentic, it reminded us of Kathmandu. Thank you again for the delicious meal!
We ordered tandoori veg momo, chicken 65 and veg chow mein. Momos were flavorful but lacked the varieties of chutneys & a side of noodles served at other places. Chicken was hard, stringy and flavorless for of a 65 dish. Chow mein were delicious. The thicker noodles used in it reminded of Indian fast food. In dessert, rasmalai was delicious but kheer (rice pudding) didn't taste that well. Overall, I'd say it was a decent meal but not amazing.
Food was amazing! Staff was very friendly towards our baby. They mixed up one of our orders but made it again.
We had a wonderful time dining here. We placed orders for butter panner, momo, and garlic naan. The server was committed and the food was wonderful. I'll be there again with friends.
The staff is the friendliest and the atmosphere is the coziest from Delhi to Kathmandu. ideal location for real Nepali and Indian food.
The vegetarian selection is amazing. Even meat aficionados will appreciate the paneer tikka's taste.
We tried yhe chow mein, samosa, momos. All items were delicious. The atmosphere is nice and with goood service, you cannot go wrong with this one.
Nice fine dining environment with good food and good prices compared to other fine dine Indian/Nepalese restaurants in town. They also have a full bar if you want to just go and grab drinks with your friends! Overall a good option for food and drinks.
I came with a large group and they accommodated us quickly. The environment was nice and relaxing. Their butter chicken and naan was great. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends. 10/10. Best Indo-Chinese place in the Bay Area. The service was great. The owners were super nice and very helpful. New go-to restaurant for me.
I had a great dining experience here. The food was delicious, especially the Khasi ko Sekuwa and Machha Fry, and the service was excellent. The ambiance was elegant, making it a perfect spot for enjoying authentic Indo-Nepalese cuisine. Highly recommend!
Newly opened restaurant with very tasty food and good interiors. Would highly recommend to try out tandoori chicken momos here We also tried pinacolada (had extra coconut milk) , mojito ( was little salty), gongura chicken curry ( salt could have been less) and tandoori chicken momos ( the outer covering was a little hard ). They are doing really well for a new restaurant with fast and amazing service
Very dissapointed with Paneer Grill Salad, The description on the menu didn’t match the actual food. Also hot n sour soup was average too, The wok chilli and chicken fried rice looked good but tasted average. Wai Wai Chatpate was decent. It has very strong mustard oil flavor.
Yet another new upscale Indian restaurant. I should start with the Indian bartender. He is great. Made us amazing pina coladas. Ambience is decent for the price. Masala chicken started was a twist with the spices. Loved it. We ordered mostly indo chinese. Tasted decent.
I recently visited Delhi to Kathmandu, and I had an amazing time there. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff are very nice as well. The menu offers a wide range of Indian and Nepalese dishes, from comforting curries to tasty momos (dumplings), and everything I tried was cooked just right. I would recommend everyone to go there and check it out—you won’t be disappointed!
The restaurant had a nice ambience and the food was really good too. Flavors were on point. We ordered the following items, unfortunately didn’t click their pictures though: - Tandoori Momos 4/5 - Peshawari Chicken Tikka 5/5, a tad bit on the expensive side - Garlic Naan 5/5 - Chilli Garlic Naan 5/5 - Shahi Paneer 4.5/5
Perfect location , awesome food, great service .
Upscale restaurant in Sunnyvale downtown. Quite expensive. Food was okay.
If you love authentic Nepali food, this place is a must-visit! The momo were some of the best I’ve had—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with their chutney. The Khasi ko Sekuwa (grilled goat) was smoky, tender, and packed with spices that hit just right. But the best part? The service! The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Don’t forget to try their dessert—you won’t regret it!
Great food. Courteous service and a very cozy ambience. I would definitely recommend this place. Hope the quality and standards are maintained as this eatery gains traction!
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and excellent customer service. My family enjoyed all our dishes. Even my 8 year old enjoyed everything, especially the chicken tacos starter. Wonderful experience, highly recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful space, calm music, great service and delicious food. I came on a Wednesday after work and there were some other parties but I didn't have to wait for a table for 4. The food tasted home cooked and was filling! We ordered a samosa chaat, chili chicken momo , chicken curry and garlic naan, and chicken sekuwa. Highly recommend and will come back.
been here like 6 times since they opened (new place opened at the end of 2024) and have been great every time! my stomach is usually really sensitive to spicy food and i haven’t had any issues eating here. chicken momo (steamed and chili) are really good, khushi to sekuwa was really fresh and good, chicken curry was also super good, and definitely try the samosa chat for appetizer! i have been bringing friends here every time and they all have loved the food!! 10/10
Delicious food with options from across India and Nepal. All sorts of classics and fusion dishes. Service was also great -- very attentive. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
Food is tasty and nicely presented, great customer service. I will return
Best South Asian restaurant in the area!! Every single dish we had was phenomenal & the service is even better. Came here to celebrate my parent's anniversary & they took such great care of us and even played Nepali music for us! Truly made our night so special, cannot recommend the place enough Our server Sweden was incredible as well! Would recommend the Chicken 65 & Avocado chaat
It was kind of last min plan change and we ended up in this restaurant which turned out to be great. Definitely recommend this restaurant, great food , good taste, good service... Most of items we ordered were good in taste.
I tried the tandoori chicken momo, shrimp peri peri, and chicken Hakka noodles. The tandoori chicken momo was flavorful and well-cooked. The shrimp peri peri was average—not bad, but nothing special. The chicken Hakka noodles was different from the usual Hakka style, and the taste didn’t quite match my expectations. Overall, an average experience for my liking.
Food was great, and so is the atmosphere
Loved the food, especially the service by Jenito. Would recommend the momos, dal makhni and biryani
Loved the food, ambience and vibes! Chatting with Jenito in Konkani and his hospitality was great! Would recommend the momos, dal makhni and biryani ??
Delicious dinner! The gobi manchurian and onion kulcha were very yummy, and our server Jenito was very attentive :)
Delicious food. I tried roti, palak panner and fried rice. I really liked the taste. The spice levels were also good. Ambience was also good.
Very tasty food and atmosphere, I have been searching for a good north Indian restaurant for a while now and finally found a few good ones. Their aloo prathas were delicious with very thin layer of aata and good masala.
Overall a very nice experience! We tried everything from starters to dessert and the food was amazing. For starters we tried veggie options like baby corn wok chili, avacado chaat and non-veg we tried fish 65 and chicken lollipop. Everything was awesome. Fish 65 and baby corn could be more flavorful. Main course was lamb vindaloo with the meat very tender. Chicken kadai was also very good. Very large portion for veg fried rice. For dessert we had gulab jamun and rasmalai. Both of them , especially the rasmalai was excellent. The service was top notch and server was always eager to please us. I highly recommend this place!!
We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant, we had salmon tikka, chicken coconut curry and chana masala which were all delicious but the best for us was the garlic naan, fresh out of the oven with great aroma and crispness - we kept ordering more! Service was friendly and gracious and the restaurant is very clean and pleasant inside.
We really liked the food and service ! Paneer butter masala and naan were awesome. Tandoori Momo’s were served on a hot plate and tasted good ! Hakka noodles though were average and more flavors could be added to them . Our sever Sweedon was very attentive and polite. Will recommend for sure.
A wonderful Indian restaurant! Tonight I celebrated my wife’s birthday here, and we liked it so very much! We were served by Jenito, and it was a great success, my wife and I enjoyed the dishes, namely Veg Coco Curry, and a non-veg dish I forgot the name of , but they were super delicious indeed. Thanks a million, we’ll be back soon!
Visited here on a whim and very glad we did! Both the food and service were excellent, our server Jenito was kind and attentive. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Butter Chicken, and Malai Kofta - would recommend all. We will visit again!
Two days in a row. I am working my way through the menu. Try the avocado chaat. Trust me, its really good. Also loved the butter chicken! My buddy Jenito took great care of me both days.
I absolutely loveeed this place. It was my first time dining here and the service and food were top-notch. Will definitely bring in more friends and family.
Jenito is the best! Friendly and attentive! Food was amazing - chicken biryani is the best!
Delicious food and great service from Jenito. Biryani was especially good!
Nice place to eat with family and friends.
Absolutely delicious! I love the variety and flavor. I want to bring more friends here
Great food and service was excellent
We ordered the Corn Soup, Tandoori Momo, Beetroot Kebab, and the Chicken Kebab. Beetroot kebab was out of this world, so was the momo. One of the best Nepali restaurants in the Bay Area!
The food is great here. Jenito provided great service to us.
Excellent food. Loved loved the great flavors.
The food was amazing. Definitely going back soon.
High Scale new Indian Restaurant in Bay Area. Tasty food and extra nice ambiance ??????
We recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The food was exquisite, with each dish expertly prepared and presented. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
Jenit was an outstanding server! The food was incredible and we had a wonderful experience.
Jenit was an amazing server and the food was fantastic!!! Gave us extra curry and rice. Will definitely come back!!!
If your cravings live somewhere between spicy, saucy, and soul-satisfying, this Indo-Chinese spot is your new obsession. From the first bite of the Avacado Chaat, Paneer Taco to the fiery hit of the Schezwan noodles, tandoori momo, every dish was a flavor bomb. The food was perfectly balanced. Even the thali was very delightful. Portions - Generous. Service - Fast and friendly. Ambiance - Modern and upscale
We went to this Indo-Chinese restaurant on Murphy Avenue in Sunnyvale on a Saturday evening. Visually, with its grand chandeliers and knocker back chairs, the place sets the mood for a great dining experience. Now, onto the experience. The service was painfully slow. To be fair, Jenito did warn us about the delay, and given it was a Saturday night, we tried to be patient. But the wait to be seated and served felt excessive, even with the heads-up. The chicken soup came with an unexpected punch of coriander, but we were given vinegar and hot sauce right away when we asked for some. The chicken fried rice had a strange boiled rice aroma , and came with bits of coated chicken, which didn’t quite hit the mark. The malai kebabs seemed overcooked. The chilli chicken was perfectly spicy and saucy. Honestly, their Indian menu might be the safer bet. That said, Jenito stood out for being kind and attentive, checking in with another staff member about our food which we appreciated.
Cute Nepali / Indian restaurant in the heart of Sunnyvale. The waiters are kind and friendly. We tried the momo which was very authentic. Chili paneer was good but had a little too much sweetness in the sauce. The hands down winner is the beetroot / carrot kebab which I cannot recommend enough.
Delicious food. Nice decor, ambience is excellent for a date night! We tried Mutter Paneer, Garlic Naan and desi paneer tacos. Curry had perfect spice level.. garlic naan was just perfect! Mango lasso and virgin Pina colada were good as well!
All their food is delicious, but our favorites are the Chicken Momo, Biryani, Masala Chicken, and Khasi Ko Sekuwa — all packed with flavor. The service was excellent, especially from Mr. Nawaraj, who made our experience even better. Highly recommend!
Super tasty food . I was with friends. It’s high scale Nepali Restaurant in Bay Area.
Stopped here with my family for a dinner. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the biryani, naan and momos..
Their food is just fine. I couldn’t taste Nepali flavors in many of their dishes.
We tried their veg jhol momo, garlic naan and malai kofta. Malai kofta was soo creamy and delicious! The jhol momo was a little too spicy for our liking but the flavors were pretty good!
Thankyou Seedn for your warm hospitality and great customer service . I really appreciate the SteamChicken Momo, Chilli Veg momo, Khasi ko Sekuwa, Samosa and Ras Malai. Everything was great will try something different next time. Thankyou again for welcoming us We love it.
We dined at this restaurant on 4/12/25 on our visit to the Bay Area. The food was absolutely lip smacking! The service was great but the savory mojito cocktail was the star! Do get it if you drink
Awesome food, good atmosphere,Jenito served our table, he was very efficient, meals were served got and fast. Food is awesome and prives are very reasonable. Would visit again and again only for this experience.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the interior design feels fresh & modern. The food was delicious and the service attentive and knowledgeable. Sweeden took great care of us and we will definitely be back. The highlight was the chicken Mo-Mo…a must order for sure!
Sweeden and the staff are very friendly , take good care of customers.
Sweeden and staff are exceptionally good !!! Food is so good !!! And price and taste are the best !! Kudos to Sweeden !!!
Try this place immediately. The food was so good. The Momos were a great appetizer as well
The restaurant has a very nice ambience. We ordered wai wai chatpate, chicken momo and chicken hakka noodles. All the food tasted great. Would recommend this place for a nice lunch/dinner.
Very nice ambience and food was very good. Really liked the veggie momos. Also good veggie option
We've been here three times in the last 2 months. The food is delicious, and the staff is very good! The ambience and decor is top notch as well. The afternoon meal thalis have generous portions. The veg biryani tasted yummy!
Tandoori momos was good , onion chili kulcha must try, panner curry was decent overall all decent food but it was bit pricey as per quality and quantity, (probably because it is in downtown).
Jenato was the best. He served us very well.
Jenito was great for serving and we loved the food.
The service was very good. Specially Jenato was very hospitable and nice!
Nice place with good taste… we tried goat kebab and biryani ; taste was good.
Food was excellent and our waiter Jenito was awesome. Chairs are really comfortable too.
Such a great spot! The food and service were both amazing. Our friends took us here, and it totally lived up to the hype. Huge shoutout to Jenito for going above and beyond. Definitely recommend!
Great food and very good ambiance. Be sure to order Tandoori Momo when you are there!
Went to the restaurant on weekday late night. Restaurant is in the Sunnyvale downtown has good ambience. Tried Avocado Chaat, Paneer 65, Baby corn Wok Chili and Maccha Fry. Avocado chaat and Maccha Fry were great but other items were ok.
If you're craving flavorful Indian food, this restaurant is a hidden gem! The tandoori momos are absolutely delicious — well-seasoned and served with a spicy dipping sauce that packs a punch. I also tried the Paneer 65, and it was a standout dish. The paneer was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in a bold, tangy, and slightly spicy masala that made it impossible to stop eating. Pani puri is a must too !
Lovely new place in Downtown Sunnyvale (Murphy) Their veggie appetizers- beetroot kebabs, paneer 65 and tandoori momos were especially delicious. Sweeden - our server was very friendly and gave some good recommendations. He even accommodated birthday celebrations which was sweet! Had a pleasant experience here, highly recommend!
The setting and atmosphere is good but sadly the service was quite bad, maybe they are still figuring it out since it a new restaurant but not good. Food was average at best for the general area.
We loved the food here, ambience was great too. Will surely go back for some more yummy food & great service. The only thing, I would complain is the wait time though, which they need to improve a bit. Otherwise great option in Sunnyvale Downtown.
The food was very good and amazing service!!
The food was amazing the masala chicken was so delicious!! And the waiters were so patient
This place was amazing!! The staff was really kind and helpful. The food came out fast and was really delicious.
Excellent food and beautiful customer service and spectacular ambience
Veggie tacos were outstanding; beetroot and carrot cutlets were excellent
Delicious food, great quality for the price.
Very tasty and interesting food!
Hello..It is worth it of eat Chicken 65 & Fried rice. We loved food as well as hospitality.
The dish was delicious and vibrant, with juicy pieces and a stunning presentation. The service was attentive and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Great lamb Rogan Gosh and fantastic service from Jenito
Overall a bit disappointed with this place. The ambience is bit on the dull side. The service was below par but may be it was a Monday dinner so that can be a reason. We did order veg and chicken tandoori momos and they were actually good. But everything else including chow mein, paneer chili and a chicken dish were sub standard. Even the drink guava chili vodka was super sour.. they need to definitely up their game soon..
Great food. Great service. Nice ambience. Came with a big group and a bab for anniversary celebration. Everyone had fun. They even offered to add candles to the cake I got.
Our server Jenito was helpful. Definitely make a reservation for Friday and weekend evenings.
Thanks Jenito for the great service!
My first time ever experiencing Indian food and I LOVED IT. Decided to stop here with my mom and had such a great experience. Our server was jenito! The food and service was amazing. 10/10
Great food! Excellent service by Jenito.
Great place. Jenito gave us a great service.
We ordered Gorkha beer and few curries- it was overall good experience with family Sweeden helped us to get the right menu and helped us to get good food choices.Food arrived timely and was very delicious
Good food and good service. Gilman jamuns rocked
Great Lunch Spot – Go Before It Gets Too Popular! Had a really enjoyable lunch today! I ordered the lunch thali with coconut chicken curry and paired it with a hazy IPA on draft. The curry was beautifully balanced – the masalas were subtle but distinct, and I could pick up every flavor, even the sweet-tangy hint of cinnamon. It’s clear a lot of care goes into the food. The hazy IPA, served in a tall glass, was a perfect complement with fries from the tali – refreshing and just the right touch for a relaxed afternoon meal. Highly recommend checking this place out while it's still under the radar.
The staff was super friendly, all food arrived fast, kids were treated with mango laci on house.
We came here with my family for the first time. The decor and ambiance is nice. Food was ok, nothing special except the avocado bhel, which was a table favorite. Service by Sweden was excellent. He accommodated all our requests and was attentive and pleasant. 5 star for service and 3 star for food.
We just visited this restaurant today and absolutely loved the food and the service! Very family friendly!
Great Indian food, jenito was very friendly and nice.
Overall a good experience. The food was outstanding and scrumptious. Definitely a recommended place to visit.
Food is different and good .
Thanks to Jenito was our service was lovely.
Loved the food and the ambience. Malai kofta was super yummy. Would definitely recommend this place!
Love the food and service. Highly recommended.
The chinese is amazing....And very good spices....Must try is noodle and momos
Delhi to Kathmandu Restaurant and Bar is a hidden gem that beautifully bridges the culinary cultures of India and Nepal. Located in a cozy yet vibrant setting, the restaurant offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The biryani here deserves its own spotlight. Fragrant, perfectly spiced, and slow-cooked to perfection, every spoonful packs flavor without being overpowering, the rice is fluffy, the meat tender, and the aroma intoxicating. It’s served with a rich raita. The Fish 65 at Delhi to Kathmandu is nothing short of sensational. Crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, it’s perfectly marinated with South Indian spices that deliver just the right kick of heat. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to recommend dishes if you’re unsure what to order. The décor blends rustic charm with modern touches—think colorful prayer flags, warm lighting, and traditional art pieces. It feels authentic without being overwhelming, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.
If you’re looking for a nicer Indian restaurant with a more modern vibe check this place out. Loved the Chaat options. There were so many appetizers we wanted to try we made a meal of that and they were all fantastic. I particularly loved the tacos.
This Pumpkin and Bamboo Curry is very very delicious. Highly recommended for any vegetarian. The service are great, all waiters are always check in with you how you feel about the food and the experience.
Delhi to Kathmandu is a culinary gem! The ambiance is inviting, incredible food with authentic flavors, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit for anyone craving a taste of India and Nepal. Highly recommended!
Four of us tried this place for the first time. The food was exceptional. We ordered wai wai chapati (which was like nothing I had ever had before), samosas, pumpkin and bamboo curry, tandoori prawns, add veggie biryani. Everyone at the table enjoyed every dish. The food was all nuanced, without being too spicy. Even the nan in the raita had their own unique tastes. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday night, and the food was worth waiting for. The biggest problem was the poor acoustics. It was very loud and hard to hear each other talk. Being seated near two large tables did not help. Still, we would definitely come back here and would recommend it to others.
Biryani was fantastic, was prepared with skill and fresh quality ingredients. Really hope this place can maintain its consistency over time. Butter chicken quantity needs to be increased
Extremely disappointed with the quality of the service. The food was ok and certainly did not justify the price point. Service was disorganized and inattentive, making the entire experience frustrating.
first time experienced with this place yesterday My happiness was burst out when i had hakka noodles and machha fry .now its been my fav place for hakka noodles and machha fry i never had such a different taste hakka noodles before in california where ever i had been .Services was also good. But as baby parents i would like to suggest you to put diaper change station in restroom which help moms a lot ??.love this place n all foods.Thankyou
Sweden was great. Love the food and ambiance. Will be back
Jenito was a great waiter, the food was SO good, great atmosphere, we'll definitely be back, weekly if it was up to me!
Unfortunately the food was just ok. The chicken in the two curries we ordered was dry and the garlic naan we ordered barely had any garlic. The tandoori momo’s were flavorful. The service was sub-par. For no discernible reason we were told we couldn’t sit outside even though others had been allowed to sit outside and there were plenty tables available. The waiters only recommended the most expensive dishes. Also they didn’t really check in on us until it was time to provide a review. And speaking of review we felt pressured to give a positive review on the spot. That is unacceptable. They should just politely ask in a short sentence for a review and leave the QR codes on the table.
I had 2 curries. Kadhai chicken and bamboo pumpkin. I also had gobi manchurian. Mutton dish is also very tasty. Food is very tasty and staff is very polite
The food here is amazing!! We have tried their naans and curries, samosa Chaat, and Momo's. Everything is spicy and flavorful. They get busy so service can get really slow when they're understaffed, but it's worth it.
Very Nice newly opened Restaurant. Really Good options for Vegetarian folks. Highly recommend Paneer 65, Veg korma, Garlic naan. Hot and Sour soup was tasty but it was little spicy than we expected. Portion size for soup and veg korma were generous.
the prices are too high considering for the taste & quality, $40 per person
I visited California a couple of days ago and had the chance to try some Nepali food at Delhi to Kathmandu in Sunnyvale — and wow, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and fresh. I especially recommend the Tandoori Momo and Fried Rice — both were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. If you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try. Highly recommended!
Food was amazingly delicious, and Jenito provided excellent service
Our waiter Jenito provided excellent service. The food was tasty- my favorite is the Maccha Fry!
Ordered the Goat Dum Biryani, Avocado Chaat, Fish Fry, Pani Puri. YUM!
Looking for the best restaurants in Sunnyvale? Try Delhi to Kathmandu, Restaurant and Bar – a top-rated spot for authentic Nepali and Indian cuisine. From flavorful momos to aromatic biryanis, every dish is a delight. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and perfect for lunch, dinner, or office gatherings. One of the must-visit restaurants in Sunnyvale!
Delhi to Kathmandu, Restaurant and Bar is truly one of the best restaurants in Sunnyvale for authentic Nepali and Indian food. The jhol momo, tandoori items, and thali sets are full of flavor and tradition. Perfect spot for food lovers searching for top Sunnyvale dining experiences. Highly recommended!
Dinner last night was wonderful! Ordered extra to have leftovers. Don't know how much it was as my husband paid the bill. We agreed we can't wait to come back!
Best Indian restaurant in the world, Food A+ Team dedication A+ Overall setup A+ Strongly recommend!!
food was delicous spically tandoori food juicy and well cook
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food.
In Delhi to kathmandu, its my second time having dinner, talking about what make to come here again is because of the taste of food and feels like home. And dont forget to taste MOMO overhere because i think its a best place to find momo in whole bay area. Thank youu
Lol
Authentic indian food! Great variety of appetizers and entrees. Also, the decoration and vibes are very nice.
Best restaurant for Indian food Highly recommended
Visited here for team lunch from work. We had reservations ahead of time. Reservations recommended for large groups. We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Paneer Tikka and Chicken Tikka as appetizers. We ordered several curries, goat and chicken biryani with garlic and butter naan. Biryani’s were excellent and also all curries, specially the goat curry. Service was very good. They have seating both inside and outside. Great place for dining.
The food was very tasty, loved the ambiance and the staff were great
One of the newer restaurants on Murphy Avenue, this place stands out with its luxurious mahal-style decor and soft nostalgic Bollywood music. The staff was cheerful and always available to check in. The menu features Indo-Chinese and Nepali cuisine, along with a selection of local beers and alcohol from India and Nepal. We stopped by for a quick dinner and tried two dishes: Wok Chilli and Fish 65. Both were rich and flavorful; we’d recommend opting for low to medium spice levels. The portion sizes were medium to generous. Our only minor complaint was that the food leaned slightly on the oily side. Still, we’d definitely come back to explore the rest of the menu!
The food is absolutely delicious. I've tried the shahi paneer and the chow mein with vegetables, both were some of the tastiest dishes I've ever had.
Food is delicious! Highly recommended!
Very nice and friendly servers so clean place and delicious food Not expensive at all
Chicken momos ,Egg noodles was excellent, service was great.
Jenito is really great with services. Really great food and down to earth staff and really enjoyed the food. Do try the Masala soda.
Jenito was a wonderful server who went above and beyond with our large group, and the food was amazing.
Wonderful food and service. Jenito was a great server. Interesting curries (veg and non-veg) as well as Nepalese dumplings. Indoor and outdoor seating on Murphy St; dog friendly.
Excellent lunch. Jeniti was our waiter and he recommended an excellent selection of pumpkin curry and avocado chaat
Food was good, enjoyed the wok veg noodles and shahi paneer. Decor of the place was very nice. Cocktails are expensive but strong
Good desi food and great vibes. I visited this place on a late Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm. It was nice and quiet. The inside looks good. A great bar with nice decor and seating area. I bet this place will be lit during the evening time. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken Momos as a starter. It was good. Highly recommended. We got Butter Chicken and Naan as the main course. Butter chicken was a bit sweet but still it was good. The service was pretty good. I had a nice conversation with the server. He told me that the owners of this place are from Nepal but the head chef is from India so it has a nice mix of Indian-Nepalese food. He recommended me to try Kukhura ko sekuwa and Wai Wai Chepate dishes next time. Wai wai noodles come from Nepal. They have unique flavors to it. I will definitely try Wai Wai Chepate the next time I visit this place.
Great Indo Nepali food cuisine restaurant. Ambience is good. Right in the middle of Murphy St in Sunnyvale. Tandoori Fish was really top notch , came as sizzler and served with combination of chutneys. Vegetable Chowmein and chicken curry with Onion kulcha were really good. We tried 4 of their indian cocktails and all were great but Savory Mojito and Guava Snipper masala stood out. Not too sweet and you can clearly taste the alcohol.
We got takeout from here and we'll definitely be back. We got the creamy lamb biryani, spicy lamb curry, spicy butter chicken, chilly garlic naan, samosa chaat, samosas, and rice. Everything was super flavorful and the spicy items were spicy but not numbingly spicy - just enough to add flavor.
We had a wonderful lunch at **Delhi to Kathmandu, Restaurant and Bar**, and it truly lived up to its name, offering a beautiful blend of Indian and Nepali flavors. The **Avocado Chaat** was a surprising highlight—fresh, tangy, and full of texture. It’s not something you see everywhere, and they’ve done it really well. The **Chicken Momo** was absolutely delicious—steamed perfectly with juicy filling and a flavorful dipping sauce that packed just the right amount of heat. We also tried the **Lentil Soup**, which was comforting and hearty, and the **Khasiko Sekuwa** (grilled goat meat) had a rich, smoky flavor with spices that really brought the dish to life. While the soup and sekuwa were good, the momo and avocado chaat definitely stole the show. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly service that made the whole experience even better. If you're looking to enjoy a mix of traditional and modern South Asian dishes, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back!
Good food good customer service
I ordered Indo Chinese food and it was authentic, as made in India. Wine was good too. Vibe was nice and easy going. Service was okay but not great; probably because I was by myself and they thought I wouldn't spend/ tip as much the groups that were at other tables.
Good indo-chinese food -- we got hakka noodles, veg tandoori momos, wai-wai chatpate, and the baby corn gravy, and every thing was tasty!
The food here is absolutely delicious! We've tried the naans, curries, samosa chaat, and momos — all bursting with spice and flavor. It can get quite busy, so the service tends to slow down when they're short-staffed, but the food definitely makes it worth the wait.
The food tasted great, but the dessert was the highlight. Gulab jamun and rice pudding were especially delicious. Both the service and the ambience were impressive. Next time I’ll bring my whole family.
Must try??? Avocado Chaat ?? Malai Kofta ??? Chili Garlic Naan Rasmalai *best* Spicy sauce ( side ) The service and the food were amazing! They were very accommodating and kind!
I recently ordered Food for To Go at Delhi to Kathmandu restaurant in Sunnyvale downtown, and tried a mix of Indian and Nepali favorites. The Bhuna Gosht was rich and aromatic, with tender lamb in a perfectly spiced gravy, But its been too Salty, one can easily make out that they might have added extra Salt Accidentally,But thats Fine it Happens. The Veg Chowmein had a pleasant wok-tossed flavor and just the right crunch in the vegetables. I really enjoyed the Veg Crispy appetizer—lightly battered and tossed in a tangy sauce that balanced sweet and spicy notes. The standout for me was the Tandoori Momos: smoky, juicy dumplings with a charred edge that paired beautifully with their spicy chutney. Overall, the meal was flavorful and satisfying , its an easy spot to recommend for anyone craving Indian-Nepali comfort food.
Jenito was an outstanding server, going above and beyond for our large group, and the food was absolutely delicious.
If you’re in or around Sunnyvale and craving authentic Ragi Mudde Oota, this is the spot to try. The Ragi Mudde, Bassaru, and Molakekalu were all excellent. You can place an order online for pickup, or find them on delivery apps too.
Delhi to Kathmandu is one of those rare places I never get tired of visiting. What sets this restaurant apart is its unique take on momos and a variety of appetizers that keep me coming back for more. Their Tandoori Momos, in particular, are a must-try—packed with bold, unforgettable flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. We recently chose Delhi to Kathmandu to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable. They played a birthday song and even set up laser dance lights, creating a fun and festive atmosphere that added a special touch to our celebration. The drinks menu is just as impressive. Both the mocktails and cocktails are thoughtfully crafted and delicious, perfect for complementing the flavorful food. Service here is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to recommend dishes and drinks based on your preferences. Their suggestions have never disappointed, ensuring a wonderful dining experience every time. If you’re looking for a vibrant spot with exceptional food, creative drinks, Delhi to Kathmandu is a place you won’t want to miss!
We loved our Sunday lunch here. Tandoori Mixed Grill and Paneer Tikka Masala, with rice and garlic and cheese naans. Everything was delicious with spice levels tailored to our taste. Amazing service and very kid friendly. Will be coming back for sure.
Loved the garlic naan, soft and buttery, perfect with curry.
We were there last Sunday and tried the Jhol Chicken Momo, Chana Masala, and Steamed Veg Momo. The Chicken Jhol Momo was definitely the highlight—probably one of the best you'll find in the entire Bay Area! The steamed veg momos and chana masala were also really good. Amisioon is honestly one of the best Nepali restaurants around. We had a great time and really enjoyed our Sunday lunch!
Wonderful food service and atmosphere!
It's an excellent option for anyone who wants real Himalayan flavors. We were there to try Khasiko Sekuwa and mo:mos, which were well-made, flavorful, and juicy and paired with a fiery chutney. My kids tried Hakka Noodle and Fried Rice, and that blew their mind. Anyone who wants to experience some real Himalayan flavors should definitely check it out.
The tandoori paneer Tikka, the Veg Momos and all the chutneys were great. The fresh lime soda didn't have any soda in it but was otherwise ok. The creamy paneer biryani tasted good and the portion size was ridiculously big.
We tried two dishes here - Aloo Timmur and Chana Masala, both were really good. The ambience is very classy and the service is good. It is conveniently located in Sunnyvale downtown. I am looking forward to going again. There can be some wait time depending on the time you go.
Butter chicken was creamy and rich, I could eat this every week.
The goat curry was slow-cooked, full of spices, and worth every bite.
Chicken tikka masala was packed with flavor and served hot, loved it.
Chicken biryani was aromatic, with rice cooked to perfection.
Very good food and service. Best butter I ever had.
This is really great Indian food. I love butter chicken with its naan. Thank you for service Jenito!
Lamb curry was rich, flavorful, and went perfectly with rice.
Fish curry had a tangy sauce that kept me going back for more.
Tandoori platter is a must-try—great variety and smoky flavors.
Paneer butter masala was creamy and perfectly spiced, so satisfying.
Gulab jamun was soft, warm, and just the right amount of sweet.
CHILI CHICKEN HAD THE RIGHT BALANCEl OF HEAT AND TANG, VERY TASTY.
Shrimp curry had layers of spice, tang, and heat—fantastic.
The sekuwa chicken had bold Nepali flavors, grilled perfectly.
Had the Chicken biryani and lamb korma. The creamy biryani is fantastic and the korma was wonderful too. I'll definitely come here again
Veg curry was flavorful and paired so well with the basmati rice.
The food here is a great fusion of Delhi and Kathmandu, full of unique flavors.
Kathmandu Special Combo platter was perfect for sharing, a little bit of everything.
We visited a lovely new spot in Downtown Sunnyvale (Murphy) and had a wonderful experience! The veggie appetizers — beetroot kebabs, paneer 65, and tandoori momos — were especially delicious. Our server, Sweeden, was very friendly and offered great recommendations. He even helped make our birthday celebration extra special, which was so thoughtful. Overall, a pleasant experience — highly recommend!
Tandoori momos were the highlight for me.
The food was absolutely delicious! The decor is lovely, and the ambience is perfect for a date night. We tried the Mutter Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Desi Paneer Tacos — the curry had just the right level of spice, and the naan was perfectly made. The Mango Lassi and Virgin Piña Colada were also refreshing and tasty!

Kukhura Ko Sekuwa stood out with smoky flavor and soft texture.True Nepali essence captured perfectly.
A friend wanted to try this place so we came for week night dinner. Easy parking out back, was very quiet when we arrived but several large parties came later. Decor was really lovely we were very comfortable & liked the green & blue chairs & hanging umbrellas. Nice selection of beers & wine. Started with delicious appetizers, shrimp & pani poori, goat curry was not my pick but wow it was SO delicious- on both rice or naan. Also enjoyed tandoori style chicken momo’s. Service was not particularly friendly but was efficient & alert. Clean restrooms also a plus. Overall a place I plan to return to!
The Hakka noodles and cauliflower Manchurian were amazing! The noodles had the perfect flavor, and the Manchurian was super crispy and tasty. Totally loved it!
Tried chilli, tandoori and steam momos, it was really good.
Great ambiance and delicious food!
The food is great. The flavors were great. The tandoori momos, bhuna gosht were awesome. Definitely recommend trying them out. They have a 15% off during lunch right now.
We stopped in on our way to Apple HQ and had a great experience at Delhi to Kathmandu. The place feels warm and inviting, and the food really hit the spot. We tried several items, but the Chicken Chow Mein and Veg Momo were the stars. Fresh, flavorful and genuinely delicious. Highly recommend.
Loved the food. Amazing taste and good indian spice level too.
Amazing Food and awesome staff. They made my birthday really special.. Thank you ! Definitely recommend this place. Nice ambience, appetizers were awesome and everything was so fresh, especially the naans.
Tandoori Momos, gobhi Manchurian, hakka noodles were very delicious. Hakka noodles taste resembled pretty close to how I used to eat at street side in India. WaiWai bhelpuri types can b avoided, it was more on dry side. Hospitality: Food was a bit spicy for our kids, when we asked for some candy to calm down kids; they didn't had one but were kind enough to provide 2 mango lassi n didn't charged for it, despite me asking to add those 2.
The food tastes fresh and delicious
Perfect spot for truly authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine! The food tastes fresh, traditional, and full of love—just like we enjoy in Nepal and India.
We had a party of six and shared tastes of several dishes. The beetroot & carrot kebab and the avocado chaat were absolutely delicious. The eggplant curry, Tadka Dal and Dal Makhani were excellent. Brown rice is also an option. Some members of our party have difficulty hearing and asked if they would turn the music volume down or seat us far from a speaker and the staff turned the music down which really increased our ability to enjoy conversation. I would definitely recommend.
