I got the Seekh kabobs which sizzled like a fajita...the vegetables with it...gorgeous...I also got the paneer....such a comfort dish on a cold day. It's right next to the 9th St Light Rail. I highly recommend popping in if you are traveling via light rail. Take it to go if that's all you have time for. It's a beautiful restaurant but its got a friendly casual vibe so you can juat drop in for a drink...an appetizer...take out or dine in. Got a takeout from here. It is in a food hall which is under construction I believe. They maintained the same quality as there Hoboken location. Everything tasted good. Got a daal tadka, chicken tikka masala and naan. Great quantity and quality.

Really good, high quality food. Momo’s were superb & lamb delicious. Good size servings & relatively fast service for good quality food. Strange concept of ordering at street level without a restaurant front, but if it keeps the costs down, that’s a win for us.

Food was amazing and budget friendly and well packed. The servings were generous with plenty to share tastes with friends or family. This is a food kiosk. Enter the building and enter order into digital devices (or order ahead so food ready). You will get a text message that food ready and a link to tap on to open locker. There really is no where to eat except 4 seats along a bar so this is really PICNIC food that you take and enjoy somewhere else.

Really great, I got sick and lived off their chicken soup when I couldn't cook. The Momo's are great and so is the chicken noodles.

Ordered Dal Makhani and had lot of unground spices that literally came with every bite. The breads weren’t the best either. Paneer Chilli was not flavorful.

Spice was right in the biriyani and service was great, they called me to confirm they had the order and when it was ready to pick up. The servings are hearty and can easily feed two people. Packaging was fine, all recyclable or compostable items it looks like. No plastic for the win.

Emperyean recently opened nearby where I live and it is truly an amazing restaurant! The ambiance, the food, the ownership is incredible. If you are looking for Indian food in Hoboken, you don't need to go further than Emperyean. We are so thankful to the entire Emperyean team, especially Rana, who have been treating us amazing during their soft launch. They have taken our multiple orders, & allowed our family to come in even before the restaurant is open. We truly appreciate the hospitality and look forward to dining there again.

I’m so glad that Empyrean opened in the walking distance from me. Great Indian restaurant with interesting cocktails and very chill atmosphere. Portions are generous and delicious, service is excellent and you the music is really unobtrusive, so you can actually have a conversation. I really enjoyed my lamb vindaloo and my partner his paneer karhy and the rasmalai desert was a perfect finishing touch. We’re definitely coming back soon.

ordered family pack boneless chicken biryani and food was good.

We had 4 items; karvepaku baby corn, cheese dosa, schezwan fried rice, and veggie noodles. All 4 items were tasty. However, the items that we originally wanted that were there on the menu (Mysore bonda, double is meetha) were not available to order. This problem of non-availability of items even when they are present on the menu happens with so many Indian restaurants for some reason. I hope the owners and management look into this and remove items that they don’t intend to have in stock.

Loved the food here. Ordered Chili Panner and Chole Puri, both were fresh and reminded me of the taste back home. They also have BYOB, if you wanna have a sit-down with your friends and have a good time. Love the atmosphere and great service.

Last week we drive to New Jersey from Canada stopped at this place. The dining area is bright, comfortable, and full of the wonderful aromas of Indian spices. The staff was very friendly and professional. The menu is full of amazing dishes and it was hard to keep our order small. We had onion pakora, chilly paneer, goat biryani, Chettinad Chicken and lastly double ka meeta. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, then you have to visit Bagara N Biryani ! If you’re new to Indian cuisine, visit them and try some of their authentic Indian dishes! I’ll definitely be returning soon! A special thanks to Mr. Shiva Prasad.

Amazing food right here in Monroe - hope in the wall place but amazing authentic Andhra food . We ordered a dosa , chicken appetizers , Bagara chicken ( which is amazing ) and sum biryani. The person on the phone forgot to add medium spicy to the order after exclusively, mentioning it, and as a result, the KARAMPODI, chicken was very salty and in edible. the person said they would get back to me with a replacement or a refund and never contacted me regarding the issue

Was in the mood for something spicy & gave this place a try. What a great experience!!! The chili chicken appetizer was one of the best tasting dishes I have EVER had. We had the Kadai Chicken and Aloo Gobi curry and both were EXCELLENT. The garlic naan complemented the whole meal and as a bring your own place everything paired nicely with a bottle of red wine. I'm looking forward to going back for the chili chicken again but also to try the tikka masala & vindaloo dishes.

I take-out from here frequently and recommend Mirchi Bajji stuffed, Biryani, Gobi manchurian, Gobi 65. Bagara bowl (bagara rice and baingan curry) is authentic and a must try! Indo-chinese dishes are great too! Had a great experience with catering as well. The staff helped us with the menu suggestions, custom orders, popular choices and signature dishes. The delivery was prompt and the dishes were freshly made and delicious

A lovely family friendly place to dine in or take out. We were a group of 22 adults and 9 kids and they accommodated us . The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. They have plenty of vegetarian options and are kid friendly too. I will highly recommend this place to try authentic Indian food.

Biryanis taste was good, but can be a tad bit more spicy then would have been awesome. garlic nan, dal were good. Roti was hard and couldn't eat. veg kholapuri was als not great. Mirch bajji was okay, onion pakoda was good. Since its still new I guess, Need to improve on fast service. Ambiance is average.

Best India food in town! Very delicious, freshly made and chef prepares the dishes as per our taste. We have tried multiple items including South Indian breakfast, everything we tried is so good! 100% recommend this restaurant for dine in and take out.

This was our second time here! The staff is very friendly, helpful and always makes great recommendations! Tonight we had the Coconut Chicken Curry, Dal Makhani (Lentil -vegetarian curry), Garlic Naan, and a Mango Lassi. Everything was delicious! Portions were plenty and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend! We will definitely go back very soon!

Amazing place! The food was really good, we had the non veg appetizers. I have to say, the chili chicken and goat sukka are must trys! Will definitely be ordering again. The chai is also very refreshing.

Very good food. We ordered vegetarian Paneer Biryani and Gutti Vankaya (eggplant curry). Both tasted great! It's a small place and the service was quick. Very fresh food with well balanced spices!

This small restaurant is a hidden gem. We ordered Chicken Tikka Malasa and Murgh Tikka Saag. Both are amazing.

Delicious local indian spot with great vibe. My server was kind and service was good. I got the chicken biryani and a chai, both were authentic and tasted amazing. They gave me such a big portion of biryani I had to take the other half home so it’s definitely worth your money. I will come back again to try their curries and naan.

Loved the food, especially the Cauliflower 65 and the Bagara rice. Biryani tasted good but the only downside was the rice was very dry.

Food was fine but I dropped one star due to a small issue. A combo special was advertised stating fried rice or noodles and one appetizer. When I ordered in the morning I got the regular size appetizer. When I ordered again in the evening the appetizer provided was lesser size. When I asked they said for combo they give like this. This is nowhere on the specials ad. So I had to discuss it with them because the reason I came back was for the same food and they can't arbitrarily decide to reduce portion size with nothing stated on the ad. They fixed the issue after I talked to them and explained that I was not happy and they then gave me the regular sized portion.

Wow! Food was AMAZINGGGGG. Must try their Brinjal Bagara and baby corn Manchuria. It was a sunny afternoon and we went out for a lunch. This was our 1st time. The man in the front desk welcomed and seated us immediately. We asked house favorites he gave us some suggestions. We ordered as he said and guess what its the Best I can say. I absolutely fell in love with brinjal bagara. The rice cooked to perfect and brinjal was soft reminded hyderabadi style. Gravy was delicious. Panner Biryani is okay, they should work on biryani as I felt like turmeric rice and panner felt solid, wasn't up to the mark. Starters were soo good. We dine in and ordered again for take away. Service was great and friendly. That Man really gave us good hospitality in resturant. We all watched a movie and enjoyed though he concentrated on rest of his tasks. No hype in ambience absolutely looked like Indian Restaurant with minimal decor which reminded us of India. Overall experience is 100/10. Great find and I wish they could open a branch in Newark. Trust me You will get more business here in Newark.

This is a solid casual local spot in the Jamesburg area for S.Indian flare with a full menu of dishes from all parts. Great dosa spot! Plus some signature dishes - highly recommend the Chicken 555, Butter Chicken and any Biryani. Make sure to ask for the right spice level to your liking.

I catered from them for a small gathering at home and am very pleased with their service and their food. Our guests enjoyed the food, it was delicious. They particularly liked Veg pulao, chilli chicken and chicken tikka masala, they delivered food in a large hot box which was mighty helpful as it kept food warm till the time it was served.
