Our experience was very good. He was never late and always communicated quickly and effectively. He adapted to last minute requests and was very flexible. He also added very beautiful lighting and sparklers complimentary. He was very kind and supportive as well and worked well with us as the stress of wedding planning kept adding near the end. I would hire him and his team again for sure!

DJ Shaan was very easy to work with. His response time was very fast. He had a nice collection of songs that he put into the mix. Was flexible with any last minute changes. DJ Shaan went with the flow and made the both events magical.

We're both happy we picked DJ Shaan. We had a small (108 people) Hindu wedding outside and a reception at the same venue inside. He used the songs we wanted, he supported a good mix of American and Indian songs. He emceed well (we asked to keep it simple) and went with the flow of events and requests. He made sure to ask as many questions as he needed upfront before the big day. Being the bride and groom, we didn't see as much of the wedding, but we got a lot of compliments. People loved dancing at the baraat. They could hear the priest outside. They loved dancing at the reception. I'm looking forward to the videos of my cousin busting out to Superstition and my aunts who hardly dance dancing. What more do you want? My brother is an audiophile and we both used to DJ in college. My brother has been a lot of weddings, he'd put DJ Shaan above average. The complaints and issues were very minor and far between. Things like we messed up a very last minute song request, asking him to speed up the baraat a bit to make the ceremony times, or adjusting music volume. I only put these here so I don't sound super biased - these though are totally acceptable imo. I'd recommend you book DJ Shaan if you like him when you meet him.

Shaan is a Very good DJ and Everyone enjoyed a lot for the part that I have hosted. DJ mixing and ambiance are just amazing. He did a good mixing of South Indian and Bollywood music. I definitely recommend hiring Shaan as a DJ.

So we have been meaning to write shaan a review for a while. DJ Sensation truly lit up our wedding. We looked through multiple Djs and eventually decided to hire shaan because of the level of professionalism he brought to the table. His knowledge of old and new Indian and Pakistani music, ability to hold a crowd really helped us out of towners put together a memorable event. He worked with our crowd and schedule really well. The uplighting at our Sangeet and Reception was par excellence. The uplighting was The major reason why the photos came out great. Let me start off by saying that this is the first time I've written a review… ever… for anything. I needed to write this because picking Shaan was the best decision that my wife and I made during our entire wedding planning process. We used Shaan for both for entertainment and for lighting -- both of which he knocked out of the park. When we signed up with Shaan, we didn’t truly understand how much of an impact our decision would make on the outcome of our big day. Looking back on our experience with Shaan, we got far more than a DJ, he was the conductor for our evening who kept the excitement and energy of our wedding day going until the last song. The bridal party entrances were electric. The lighting was perfect. It was truly the best night of our lives and made possible by the talent and hard work of Shaan and his team. You may be able to find less expensive wedding DJs, but going with Shaan, was the best money that we could have ever spent. Hats off to the Shaan and his team for a night and experience that we’ll never forget.

Sewa International organized Atlanta Holi at Atlanta cricket field and DJ Shaan kept the crowd of about 5000 people on their toes and rocking on the his tunes. Amazing powerful sound system setup. He and his team were ready at the site on time. We had live bands like School of rock and blue spirit playing live along with community performances and all went flawless. Shaan is a true professional to work with and is quite flexible. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

My wife and I had an excellent experience working with DJ Shaan. He was very timely and flexible, adjusting to the need to set up in several locations on different days. The audio at our events sounded great and we appreciated his ability to incorporate both Indian and American music into each part of our event so everyone felt included. Even the moving audio during the baraat was high quality!

DJ Shaan was very responsive to all of our emails and phone calls. He was great during the event - playing light music for the start and the playlist my husband and I came up with. His team did a great job with the uplighting which really made the venue shine and pop! The announcements were good and the transition between events on the timeline went smoothly. The acoustics of our venue weren't great to begin with but DJ Shaan did well with the event settings that were given. He also was on top of getting us ready for the big day - reminding us about getting songs - what songs we needed for the entrance, first dance, and cake cutting. He provided great recommendations as well. During the event, there were times my husband and I didn't want the song that was playing just by chance and he picked up on us wanting to change the song which was great. Our event was during COVID so not many people danced so it was nice for my husband and me to be able to change the song and at least indicate that we wanted to move onto another song. The event ended up great and everyone we chose did a great and phenomenal job. DJ Shaan is great. Highly recommended.

The best Indian Wedding DJ After researching in various wedding DJs we made the decision to hire DJ Shaan & Team, and now I have no doubts that was the best decision ever. All the effort they put in to make the event the best possible it worth every penny you pay. We had such a great experience with DJ Shaan & Team! Awesome and Very Helpful DJ Shaan was a great choice for our Bengali Wedding Reception. One of the biggest stand outs from DJ Shaan was his attentiveness to details and personal effort he put into the event. DJ Shaan met with us in person to go over the event in great detail. What was really amazing about him was him offering his own personal opinions about music selection choices. A lot of other DJs will just say everything you choose is fine, but DJ Shaan would sometimes offer alternative songs that would fit the mood better. It was really awesome to have this because you are already stressing over a million choices, it's nice having a professional offer their feedback and advice on what can work better, lessening the burden. He also was extremely accurate in playing the songs we wanted, at the exact times for our wedding party entrances. Another big plus is he was responded timely to our emails & texts. We never felt like we had to pull teeth to get a hold of him when we had questions or concerns. His professionalism and devotion really made us feel at ease during the wedding planning. Honestly one of the best guys I have ever worked with. Would 100% recommend him to anyone.

I can honestly say that the best part about my wedding party events was DJ Pawan and his crew! I hired Pawan for my holud/haldi event and my wedding reception and all my guests had an absolute blast! The venue uplighting, music, energy, 360 photobooth, starlight dance floor, and intelligent lights were incredible! The entire package I received completely changed the venue overnight between my 2 events which took place in the same venue space for both nights. DJ Pawan is simply the best. Would give 10 stars if I could. We used his company for DJ, lighting, and emcee services for our Sangeet, baraat, wedding, and reception in Asheville. He was very easy to work with, incredibly responsive, flexible throughout the entire process, and clearly very organized. It was also clear he has a tremendous amount of experience with being a wedding DJ. We wanted a mix of Bollywood, Bhangra, South Indian, hip hop, and pop music which he integrated seamlessly. He also was great at reading the crowd, adjusting appropriately. I will tell you that both nights of our wedding were absolutely lit and that can be largely attributed to Pawan’s mastery of his craft. Many of our friends and family came up to us throughout the night and afterwards to tell us how great the DJ was. On top of it all, the lighting, cold sparklers, smoke machine, and other services he provides added so much to the effects and vibe. He had several options for photo booths as well. Every option he provided us, he was honest and tried to match with what we wanted for our wedding instead of attempting to sell us the most expensive option. We did go above our budget in terms of pricing of what we wanted to spend, but we couldn’t be any more happier than the service. He provided the professionalism from day, one keeping in touch with us, coordinating in terms of songs. We had our 30th birthday at our home and what we liked is the energy he bought was amazing and his life mixing was as great as his personality. We booked him for four hours. We even extended an extra two hours for him to stay because we were having such an amazing time. Our party was supposed to end at 1 AM. I heard about JT through my friend so I went ahead and hired him for my wedding and reception and I have to say this that it was the BEST decision I had ever made for my wedding. JT and his team were AWESOME. I’m Punjabi Indian but my husband is Dominican, so I was really concerned as to how are we going to have a great party in which we can cater to both cultures. But I had nothing to worry about all thanks to JT. He was a great MC who really got the crowd hyped up. He played music from both cultures and for everybody on the dance floor. The party didn’t stop till the end. Aside from the music, he provided everything else hw promised me which was the fireworks for our entrance, the dry ice for the slow dance and more things. Overall when I look back at my wedding, I just feel soooo sooo happy. Everything wa exactly how I envisioned it to be, in fact even better then I imagined. Umme & Tamzid reception We hired Mr Shaan for our reception that took place on 12/23/2018 at Opal. I must say that he did an amazing job. His selection of songs and the mixes are well organized and superb. He played all the songs we requested plus some other varieties. His lightings at the event made the event very colorful and an elegant look. Also the lights on the dance floor made the audience turned up with his selection of songs. My wife and I really like the monogram he made for us, and that is also elegantly done. Mr Shaan is a very nice, helpful, considerate and humble person to work with. I told him that please talked to my wife, and after that he realized that I am not just looking for price point but looking for is commitment to deliverable high performance. We both get so connected that he addressed me as if I am his big brother. He even forget to send the invoice, I had to remind him. He is a wonderful and friendly person. Awesome DJ. Lot of energy. Sewa International organized Atlanta Holi at Atlanta cricket field and DJ Shaan kept the crowd of about 5000 people on their toes and rocking on the his tunes. Awesome and Very Helpful DJ Shaan was a great choice for our Bengali Wedding Reception. One of the biggest stand outs from DJ Shaan was his attentiveness to details and personal effort he put into the event. DJ Shaan met with us in person to go over the event in great detail. What was really amazing about him was him offering his own personal opinions about music selection choices. A lot of other DJs will just say everything you choose is fine, but DJ Shaan would sometimes offer alternative songs that would fit the mood better. It was really awesome to have this because you are already stressing over a million choices, its nice having a professional offer their feedback and advice on what can work better, lessening the burden. He also was extremely accurate in playing the songs we wanted, at the exact times for our wedding party entrances. Another big plus is he was responded timely to our emails & texts. We never felt like we had to pull teeth to get a hold of him when we had questions or concerns. His professionalism and devotion really made us feel at ease during the wedding planning. DJ Shaan is a true professional and I'm happy to have hired him for my Indian wedding of 370 people! He took a lot of stress off me because of his experience and quality. He drove up from the Atlanta, GA area to the Nashville, TN area for my wedding and stayed at the hotel for two nights. He likes to be well-prepared for everything, but with me that wasn't going to be the case. He was easy to communicate with before and during the event. I left many decisions up to him to make. He not only got things done, but he did them thoughtfully and well. He set up quickly for the Sangeet and was flexible with music. My friends and family had a good time. For the Baraat, he had a DJ stand in the back of a truck that moved ahead of the baraat (enough to get out of the way of the pictures). The music sounded great and helped set the celebratory mood. My guests said it was their favorite part of the weekend. For my ceremony, he handled all of the audio and microphones. Everything ran smoothly. His additional work to set up lighting for my reception was fantastic. He matched my theme colors along the entire wall, but didn't make it look or feel like a club. I'm grateful that I asked DJ Shaan to be the DJ for my wedding because he can manage his responsibilities as an large event DJ and he has good judgment. He helped make the weekend fun. I was able to relax because of him.. I wish I had followed his lead more often with music list and other suggestions he made. His flexibility came in hand adjusting to the mood and different parts of each event. His sound quality was top notch and his general work was of high quality, especially the lighting. Most importantly, he is nice and easy to work with, which is what stood out in the first place.

We're both happy we picked DJ Shaan. We had a small (108 people) Hindu wedding outside and a reception at the same venue inside. He used the songs we wanted, he supported a good mix of American and Indian songs. He emceed well (we asked to keep it simple) and went with the flow of events and requests. He made sure to ask as many questions as he needed upfront before the big day. Being the bride and groom, we didn't see as much of the wedding, but we got a lot of compliments. People loved dancing at the baraat. They could hear the priest outside. They loved dancing at the reception. I'm looking forward to the videos of my cousin busting out to Superstition and my aunts who hardly dance dancing. What more do you want? My brother is an audiophile and we both used to DJ in college. My brother has been a lot of weddings, he'd put DJ Shaan above average. The complaints and issues were very minor and far between. Things like we messed up a very last minute song request, asking him to speed up the baraat a bit to make the ceremony times, or adjusting music volume. In the course of a wedding, these are not big deals to me. I'd recommend you book DJ Shaan if you like him when you meet him.

Shaan did a great job at our wedding reception! One thing I really valued was his responsiveness, commitment and professionalism. He was always easily available and would respond promptly even sometimes late at night. He guided me as to what he required from me and without his reminders, I probably would not have gotten a few things done. Everyone at the reception loved his DJ skills and had a wonderful time. In addition, he also did the uplighting of the venue, dance floor lights and a custom monogram which were well received. In terms of value, Indian DJs in Atlanta are on the expensive side. However, Shaan was well worth the investment. He is extremely receptive to your input and easy-going. One constructive criticism for him would be that there was a time lag between the announcement of the names of our relatives and playing of the songs for their entrances which came across in a way that it was not prepared before. Having said that, we all were pretty happy with the way event went and I would certainly love to work with him in the future for other events as well.

The lighting truly transformed the ambience of the function hall and brought life to the entire hall. My wife and daughter were pleased, so I guess I made the right decision. With music that caters to all ages, DJ Shaan kept the dance floor busy and the guests rocking!! Did I mention he is also very easy to work with?

The first event was attended by about 2000 people in Roswell park and another was at Holiday Inn Ballroom Roswell with about 350 guests. On the second event we had a live band visiting from Alabama and they could not stop praising DJ Shaan's sound quality. Magic Mike (from NJ) was professional with his demeanor but I expected more quality for someone so experienced and who came recommended by our vendor, the Rockleigh Country Club. On the day of the wedding, he asked me to switch the placement of the first dance and did not seem too happy about us not agreeing with him. Songs for certain events were skipped, misplayed, and at one point three different songs played for the wrong part of the reception. He also asked me for more details about a song that was to play during a solo dance right before my reception on the day of the wedding!! Which btw, he started to play, then cut, and restarted. My poor cousin still held it together and just restarted the whole dance. He had what looked like a 13 yr. old manning the dj station while he was mcing. AND the monogram I created and gave him was all SKEWED on the dance floor- ugh - that looks so bad in pictures! He did some cool things during the party like throw streamers and he has a good voice, and played our dance list fairly close to what we wanted. But, he never played our last song.

He was on time and very professional. Music and mixing of music was awsome. Great light show. Dance floor was packed!!;Did not stick with our Do not play list songs.

We had an Indian wedding so we had a mix of American and Indian music but he could easily do one or the other. Anyway Mike was awesome and i strongly recommend.
