This duo was hosting a party I attended and they were great entertainers making sure all of us danced and enjoyed the evening to the fullest!

We hired Aparna and Vinay for my hubby’s 40th B’day celebration. They truly made it a memorable event for us. Their selection of songs was perfect for the occasion and our age group. Vinay’s Emcee skills are too good- he engaged all our guests and kept all of us entertained. We would highly recommend Mehekte Sur for any of your celebrations!

Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Vinay had the right mix of retro, Bhangra and latest hits during the DJ segment. He is also very comedic so having him at your next event will be entertaining. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. Aparna and Vinay performed at our daughter's Roka ceremony. One of the unique things was, since our son-in-law to be is Malyalli, we requested a malyalli song, and the two did an outstanding job! Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Mehekte Sur Jodi was more than just singing. They coordinated a very personalized theme and engaged the crowd. Babyshowers are usually games and all but this added a little variety to the event

The price is very reasonable compared to all other Dj’s and Emcee’s services out there. Vinay was great hosting our event did great job entertaining the crowd. The song selections were also great. I would love to have them at another event. It was the best decision we made to book them for our event.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. Met this husband and wife duo at a friends 50th Birthday party. Wife being a Doctor and Husband being a Senior Director, on weekends, you can see them following their passion. What I specifically liked was, unlike other DJs where they play the songs, Vinay and Aparna sang those songs... and that too non-stop, without looking at the lyrics. We had a wonderful 70th Birthday party thanks to Mehekte Sur. Vinay did a great job hosting and singing some of the most popular melodies for the event.

Vinay was awesome. We booked him pretty last minute and were a little worried, but he jumped in right away, helped us build the agenda, and even suggested a grand entrance that set the tone. Throughout the night he kept us on track without it ever feeling rushed, read the room perfectly, and kept everyone engaged with fun games like “Advice for the Couple” Our guests had a great time and so did we. Highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying that this is the first time I've written a review… ever… for anything. I needed to write this because picking Shaan was the best decision that my wife and I made during our entire wedding planning process. We used Shaan for both for entertainment and for lighting -- both of which he knocked out of the park. When we signed up with Shaan, we didn’t truly understand how much of an impact our decision would make on the outcome of our big day. Looking back on our experience with Shaan, we got far more than a DJ, he was the conductor for our evening who kept the excitement and energy of our wedding day going until the last song. The bridal party entrances were electric. The lighting was perfect. It was truly the best night of our lives and made possible by the talent and hard work of Shaan and his team. You may be able to find less expensive wedding DJs, but going with Shaan, was the best money that we could have ever spent. Hats off to the Shaan and his team for a night and experience that we’ll never forget.

So we have been meaning to write shaan a review for a while. DJ Sensation truly lit up our wedding. We looked through multiple Djs and eventually decided to hire shaan because of the level of professionalism he brought to the table. His knowledge of old and new Indian and Pakistani music, ability to hold a crowd really helped us out of towners put together a memorable event. He worked with our crowd and schedule really well. The uplighting at our Sangeet and Reception was par excellence. The uplighting was The major reason why the photos came out great. My husband and I and indebted to DJ Sensation for helping us put together such a beautiful event. He was always prompt, cheerful and ready to play any song we wanted. Thank you DJ Sensation. You made our event beautiful and memorable for everyone. I'm glad we got you to do our event.

DJ Shaan really made our wedding memorable. We had some unusual and unique music choices for the ceremony and he had no problems going over things with us several times to make sure everything was perfect. He curated playlists for dinner and the cocktail hour that fit our tastes and also created a lovely atmosphere. During the dancing, he was a wonderful, energetic host and got all of our guests moving on the dance floor. From planning to the event itself, my family and I loved working with DJ Shaan and his team and can’t thank him enough for making our day really special.

We're both happy we picked DJ Shaan. We had a small (108 people) Hindu wedding outside and a reception at the same venue inside. He used the songs we wanted, he supported a good mix of American and Indian songs. He emceed well (we asked to keep it simple) and went with the flow of events and requests. He made sure to ask as many questions as he needed upfront before the big day. Being the bride and groom, we didn't see as much of the wedding, but we got a lot of compliments. People loved dancing at the baraat. They could hear the priest outside. They loved dancing at the reception. I'm looking forward to the videos of my cousin busting out to Superstition and my aunts who hardly dance dancing. What more do you want? My brother is an audiophile and we both used to DJ in college. My brother has been a lot of weddings, he'd put DJ Shaan above average. The complaints and issues were very minor and far between. Things like we messed up a very last minute song request, asking him to speed up the baraat a bit to make the ceremony times, or adjusting music volume. I only put these here so I don't sound super biased - these though are totally acceptable imo. I'd recommend you book DJ Shaan if you like him when you meet him.

Sewa International organized Atlanta Holi at Atlanta cricket field and DJ Shaan kept the crowd of about 5000 people on their toes and rocking on the his tunes. Amazing powerful sound system setup. He and his team were ready at the site on time. We had live bands like School of rock and blue spirit playing live along with community performances and all went flawless. Shaan is a true professional to work with and is quite flexible. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

Awesome and Very Helpful DJ Shaan was a great choice for our Bengali Wedding Reception. One of the biggest stand outs from DJ Shaan was his attentiveness to details and personal effort he put into the event. DJ Shaan met with us in person to go over the event in great detail. What was really amazing about him was him offering his own personal opinions about music selection choices. A lot of other DJs will just say everything you choose is fine, but DJ Shaan would sometimes offer alternative songs that would fit the mood better. It was really awesome to have this because you are already stressing over a million choices, it's nice having a professional offer their feedback and advice on what can work better, lessening the burden. He also was extremely accurate in playing the songs we wanted, at the exact times for our wedding party entrances. Another big plus is he was responded timely to our emails & texts. We never felt like we had to pull teeth to get a hold of him when we had questions or concerns. His professionalism and devotion really made us feel at ease during the wedding planning. Honestly one of the best guys I have ever worked with. Would 100% recommend him to anyone.

DJ Shaan was very responsive to all of our emails and phone calls. He was great during the event - playing light music for the start and the playlist my husband and I came up with. His team did a great job with the uplighting which really made the venue shine and pop! The announcements were good and the transition between events on the timeline went smoothly. The acoustics of our venue weren't great to begin with but DJ Shaan did well with the event settings that were given. He also was on top of getting us ready for the big day - reminding us about getting songs - what songs we needed for the entrance, first dance, and cake cutting. He provided great recommendations as well. During the event, there were times my husband and I didn't want the song that was playing just by chance and he picked up on us wanting to change the song which was great. Our event was during COVID so not many people danced so it was nice for my husband and me to be able to change the song and at least indicate that we wanted to move onto another song. The event ended up great and everyone we chose did a great and phenomenal job. DJ Shaan is great. Highly recommended.

DJ Shaan was the perfect choice for our wedding. He is very professional, timely, courteous, organized, and detail oriented. From the very beginning of the planning process, DJ Shaan helped create an entertainment plan that met our needs and fit our image of the wedding. His suggestions made each reception event (dances, cake cutting, dinner, and dancefloor) flow much better. He was constantly available via text or email, and very flexible when it came to making changes to our initial plan. The reception music and lighting were perfect for each stage of our reception and he knew how to set the mood based on the guests and dancefloor. DJ Shaan’s emceeing skills are fantastic and he was able to keep our guests engaged throughout the night. He was able to play several of the songs on our playlist while also mixing and incorporating modern American and Indian songs. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service DJ Shaan provided!

Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. DJ Shaan was the perfect choice for our wedding. He is very professional, timely, courteous, organized, and detail oriented. From the very beginning of the planning process, DJ Shaan helped create an entertainment plan that met our needs and fit our image of the wedding. His team did a great job with the uplighting which really made the venue shine and pop! The announcements were good and the transition between events on the timeline went smoothly. The acoustics of our venue weren't great to begin with but DJ Shaan did well with the event settings that were given. He also was on top of getting us ready for the big day - reminding us about getting songs - what songs we needed for the entrance, first dance, and cake cutting. He provided great recommendations as well. During the event, there were times my husband and I didn't want the song that was playing just by chance and he picked up on us wanting to change the song which was great. Our event was during COVID so not many people danced so it was nice for my husband and me to be able to change the song and at least indicate that we wanted to move onto another song. The event ended up great and everyone we chose did a great and phenomenal job. DJ Shaan is great. Highly recommended.

Awesome and Very Helpful DJ Shaan was a great choice for our Bengali Wedding Reception. One of the biggest stand outs from DJ Shaan was his attentiveness to details and personal effort he put into the event. DJ Shaan met with us in person to go over the event in great detail. What was really amazing about him was him offering his own personal opinions about music selection choices. A lot of other DJs will just say everything you choose is fine, but DJ Shaan would sometimes offer alternative songs that would fit the mood better. It was really awesome to have this because you are already stressing over a million choices, it's nice having a professional offer their feedback and advice on what can work better, lessening the burden.
