We used Desi Beatzs for a recent event in our backyard celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. Matt is very professional and thorough. He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.

Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Kabir and his team were wonderful to work with for my sister’s wedding this summer. Communication was very timely, they were able to set up and figure things out throughout the multiple events we had for the wedding and everyone in our family had so many compliments for them in terms of the music they played and their professionalism in executing the programs successfully. BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! This is where Kabir came in. His kind and warm demeanor really made us feel we were in good hands. He was available for any questions and was even kind enough to do a site visit beforehand. And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. Every song was a banger, every beat felt like the apex. It wasn’t until days afterward looking at all of the fun videos from the night of people on the dancefloor we realized, “Damn our wedding really was an epic party.” All owed to Kabir and his team! Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Great selection of songs, great energy throughout the party and Vinay was really interacting with everyone in the party and making sure everyone is involved in the party. Over this past Memorial Day weekend (May 26, 2024) I gave my mom a surprise birthday party for her 75th. Pre-planned everything a month ahead of time. I was unsure about including live music at my Brazilian-Punjabi Sangeet. I originally only booked a DJ but adding live performances was a great decision. Vinay and Aparna were excellent. They understood the vibe I wanted and performed songs that resonated with everyone—Punjabi, Mehndi/Wedding classics, Bhangra, etc. Both Indian and non-Indian guests enjoyed themselves and danced. We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. Kabir and his team did an amazing job at our wedding! They made the whole process easy on us (which was appreciated with all the chaos of wedding planning). Kabir was amazing with getting a mixed (indian and non-indian) crowd going at our wedding events. All our guests were asking about the DJ. He was the first one onsite for set-up and helped with schedule and gave live recommendations on the day of the events. He is very accommodating with countless calls and meetings as needed and made us all very comfortable the day of each of our events. He went out of this way with helping the decorator and other vendors with set up as well. Our venues can be difficult to work with for vendors, so we ran into some logistical issues during the planning process, and he was incredibly easy-going and accommodating in working with us to find solutions that worked for everyone. I can honestly say that the best part about my wedding party events was DJ Pawan and his crew! I hired Pawan for my holud/haldi event and my wedding reception and all my guests had an absolute blast!
