Owner Van Dang was a vegetarian for over 5 years until she adopted the vegan lifestyle, allowing her to express her love for the planet, the people, and the animals many of us take for granted. Van is well-known in her community, not only as a role model in the Asian Vegan cuisine scene, but as a community leader in her time and effort spent with the people of Oakland.
