We used Desi Beatzs for a recent event in our backyard celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. Matt is very professional and thorough. He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. A few weeks later people are still talking about the fun party, thanks to Desi Beatzs! We would recommend him for any DJ services - large or small.

We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.

Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. Every song was a banger, every beat felt like the apex. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. This crew was incredible! We’d recommend them to absolutely anyone. They had the dance floor going all night and went above and beyond what we could have expected. This team was more than just a vendor for us; by the end of the weekend, they were like family and were a truly unforgettable part of our wedding. We hired them for our two day Indian wedding in Leesburg, VA, including DJ’ing, MC’ing, lighting, and a dholi for both days. We had three meetings with them before the wedding where we talked through our timeline, our specific music selections, and what genres of music we wanted for the dance floor. They were very thorough, and even though a few songs we discussed didn’t get played, they covered pretty much everything we asked for. The booking process was also very straightforward and flexible. They were really responsive and made suggestions based on their experience but were clearly not trying to upsell us when doing so. They also have a ton of experience with White’s Ferry Manor, the venue where we had our ceremony and reception. What really went above and beyond was the presence and energy this crew brought to our wedding, especially DJ Shiv! Shiv was on the phone with us at 2am the night before our wedding after our decorator cancelled on us. He and DJ Sameer helped us find another decorator in the middle of the night, just hours before decoration set up was supposed to begin. ShiVish Ent was a great team to work with for our wedding events! They were responsive and professional throughout the process. We were particular in looking for a DJ that could play a decent mix of Telugu/South Indian songs as well as the usual Bollywood and western songs, and DJ Vish delivered. It rained during the groom's baraat, but the team did their best to accommodate. The MC was really great. The add-ons we had like sparklers, fog machine, and up-lights tied the whole event together.

Plain and simple ShiVish Entertainment was amazing at our two-day wedding. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park... Day One – it was our religious ceremony so it was more of a Desi/Pakistani event and it was an absolute blast. DJ Vish lit up the dancefloor with his killer playlist and live mixing. He had us dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi music all night and mixed in some top-40 as well. He knew exactly what would get everyone, from kiddos to aunties and uncles going crazy on the dance floor. Day Two – a modern American wedding vibe with an Afghan flare. DJ Shiv came in just as good as his brother the previous day. He seamlessly started out the night playing some of my family's favorite Afghan songs and then switched gears to Top-40 hits, hip-hop, and house bangers. He rocked it. I need to give a huge shoutout to the heart and soul of the party – Rohit, the incredible emcee. This guy knows how to throw a party! His infectious energy, his ability to connect with the crowd – it was like having a close friend leading the festivities. Trust me, if you want your party to reach legendary status, you've got to have Rohit leading the charge. Bottom line is if you're dreaming of a wedding in which the DJ can come in and play to the vibe of your family and friends, then ShiVish Entertainment is who you want to go with. We mixed Bollywood, Afghan, Punjabi, Hip-Hop, House, and Top-40 and they made it sound amazing. With DJs who are basically musical geniuses and an emcee who's a party starter extraordinaire, they turned our wedding into a rollercoaster of love and laughter I promise you won't regret going with them. Shivish Entertainment provided DJ services, lighting and MC services for our wedding reception on Oct 13th at Milton Ridge. They hadn't (to my knowledge) worked for a wedding at this particularly comparatively small venue and despite some bumps in the road, they were able to master a great setup with high quality sound coverage throughout the room. They also did a great job of reading the room and playing music that they thought the guests on the dancefloor would like, combined with our own personal requests. I've been following them and supporting their business for over 5 years so my expectation was definitely that they would deliver a high quality experience at our wedding reception but they went above and beyond! They even added on extra uplighting to really give the room the right ambiance. MC Riju really drove the energy at the event with his roaring voice and killer dance moves. He carefully followed the highly-detailed script that I just provided on the night before, haha. They're the best of the best and I look forward to working with them again!

We hired DJ Shivish for our wedding at Morais Vineyards and they absolutely delivered. They were able to handle all aspects of our cross-cultural (Indian and American) wedding, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They were easy to work with and everyone was blown away with their mixes and energy, both the DJ and MC. If we ever have another event required DJing services, we will definitely use DJ Shivish again!!!

We had ShiVish DJ our wedding and reception last month and were blown away with their mixes and energy. ShiVish was incredible to work with - my wife and I got married on October 5, 2024 in Alexandria, VA and ShiVish was used for all audio during the ceremony, to MC during the reception, and to DJ the reception. DJ Shiva and MC Riju did our October 26th wedding and they were phenomenal! This company invited us to their office early on and met with us to make sure we were comfortable and they were so professional throughout the process. MC Riju brings a great energy to the room and our guests raved about his emcee-ing skills - several of which wanted his contact after the event for their own events. DJ Shiv is very professional and took our music requests into account during his set. Everyone had a great time. The company also brought a light up dance floor (pic below) that we highly recommend if you want a showstopper for your event. Ammnah and Ranjan were also very easy to work with when it came to administrative items prior to the function. Highly recommend if you're looking for a DJ or Emcee.

We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. Desi Beatz Entertainment was the absolute rockstar and the heartbeat of our reception! DJ Kabir and MC Baneet had an incredible knack for reading the crowd and playing the perfect songs to keep the dance floor alive all night long. Their personalized touches and amped energy, made the celebration uniquely ours. Kabir was so communicative throughout the entire process and genuinely wanted our big day to be special! The lighting in conjunction with our decor was amazing! The photobooth was a huge hit too! Our guests are still raving about the amazing party Desi Beatzs Entertainment helped create! We are so thankful for them and highly recommend!

So communicative, friendly and upfront about what services they provided (and they offer a ton! We went with the DJ & photobooth packages). He was not only just the DJ for our reception, but he was the host, emcee, and coordinator. He truly lent support to every aspect of our day and was the reason it went so smoothly. Our guests loved the photobooth as well and it was great entertainment for our guests. Our event was a traditional Pakistani reception (the groom’s culture) with guests from other different cultures, as my family is Chinese-Vietnamese. His knowledge and skill of managing the crowd and the scheduling delays was incredible and makes his services gold star. We love Kabir and the Desi Beatz team!!! Thank you!!!

Hiring Kabir was easily our best wedding decision. He went above and beyond by 1) scoping the venue for us 2) coordinating with the priest; 3) ensuring the right music was played at the right time; 4) giving us recommendations when we felt lost; 4) making sure our ceremony and reception ran on time and; 5) kept a cool head when we ran into issues with other vendors and helped make adjustments to our schedules. I would give him a 11/10. I would recommend everyone reading this to connect with him even if you are undecided. He is very easy to talk to and is super understanding. All our friends and families are looking forward to working with him for future parties and weddings.

Kabir is the best DJ in the DMV area! Hiring Kabir and his team for our wedding reception event was the best decision that my wife and I made. Kabir is very friendly, understanding, and easy going. He treated us and our guests like family. Kabir went above and beyond to give us the most memorable night ever!! He took care of our needs by providing us with all of the services that we had requested including dholis, fog machines, CO2 guns, and even glow sticks! Not only was his music selection amazing, but he made sure that he brought the hype to the event. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our son and his now wife’s Sangeet Night. Kabir is absolutely fantastic and so personable!! He was prompt and on time, and he emceed the evening’s program with no problems. Most importantly though, the music was so insanely energetic. The set was beyond what we had imagined! We got all genres of music! Not a soul was sitting out hitting the dance floor! If we’re ever looking for a DJ again, he’s the one!! We love Desi Beatz Entertainment!!!

Kabir and his team did an absolutely incredible job for our wedding day-- the team went above and beyond what we were expecting and hoping for. From the ceremony all through to the reception, so much care was taken to ensure a smooth and fun experience for everyone. The dhol players were absolutely phenomenal, the music was on point throughout the night and we have heard nothing but good things from all our guests! A special mention for the MC, Baneet, for really showing such care and kindness when I wasn't feeling too well-- I appreciated it so much.
