Desi Beatzs DJ and his entire team really made this such a fun and vibrant wedding experience for us. The energy was on point and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed the overall vibes. Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022. He's a clear communicator and works hard to understand his clients' expectations and desires for the event. He did everything we asked from him and more, and he made it an excellent evening! ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Attended a Bollywood theme party hosted by them. It was amazing how well they kept crowd engaged !! Especially due to the variations in age groups and demographics… they’re the best ??

Hands down the best DJ/host we’ve had at any event! The baby shower games were so creative—photo trivia, green light red light, baby charades—each one was a total crowd-pleaser and nothing like the usual stuff. Everyone was laughing, engaged, and genuinely having a blast. The live singing was the cherry on top. Guests are still talking about how fun and different it was. Highly recommended! ??????

My wife and I have been attending every Valentine event where this amazing Jodi performs. We saw them in action 7 years back and were totally blown away with the quality and range of their offering. Nothing gets better than to see a real life couple sing at a Valentine event. We cannot recommend them enough and they keep getting better and better with each passing year.

Raj and his team are absolutely incredible. Raj was so accommodating with all of our requests and last-minute changes, making the entire process stress-free. You can tell he truly loves what he does — we hardly had to give any instructions because he just understood our vision and brought it to life. He tailored the music exactly to our preferences while also reading the crowd perfectly, keeping the energy high throughout. What really stood out was how flawlessly he handled all six of our events. We had different artists performing at each one, yet we didn’t have to worry about a single thing because Raj took care of it all — from coordinating with performers, to managing the sound and lighting, to making sure everything flowed seamlessly. Even now, when I go back and watch the videos, I feel the same emotions I felt in those moments because of how powerful his sound and lighting setup was. DJ Raj is epitome of professionalism. From the moment we retained him for my daughter's wedding to the culmination, it has been nothing but just a fabulous experience for all. He has the best sound system, lighting options and an amazing DJ Mannan who got everyone on the dance floor non-stop with his trendy music both on Sangeet and Reception night. All our 400+ guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and were raving about it as everyone danced to their heart's content. Raj did an amazing job MC'ing both during Sangeet and Reception and ensured everyone danced to the tunes of his dholi and music during the Baraat. He executed the program as drafted to perfection. His professionalism clearly showed on the day of the events as they knew the exact tunes to play during Sangeet to the day of reception. We as hosts didn't have to worry about any details and he executed flawlessly per the plan. We now have lined him up for all the weddings in our family :)

THE ABSOLUTE BEST DJ & Entertainment group!! I had the pleasure of working with Raj and team this fall for my wedding and they made sure that our friends and family of all backgrounds stayed on the dance floor all night and every night! He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022. He's a clear communicator and works hard to understand his clients' expectations and desires for the event. He did everything we asked from him and more, and he made it an excellent evening! ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Initially, I was worried about hiring a DJ, because some of the ones I've experienced at other friends' Indian weddings were a bit cheesy. However, Kabir DJ'ed at my wedding reception on 6/2/24 and he was great! We had also used his services at my brother's wedding reception in 2022. He's a clear communicator and works hard to understand his clients' expectations and desires for the event. He did everything we asked from him and more, and he made it an excellent evening! ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

Jeetu was amazing! We had an interracial wedding with a Hindu ceremony in Asheville, NC and he assisted with a wide range of tasks over the course of several hours. He first assisted with tying our safas (headgear) for several men in advance of the wedding ceremony. He then played the dhol (indian musical instrument) for our baraat (indian wedding processional with dancing) prior to our ceremony. Finally, he played the tablas (indian musical instrument) during our cocktail hour set list and even did an impromptu collaboration with violin/cello instrumentalists for 2 more Hindi songs. We could not be happier with his performance and broad musical range!

I am an Indian bride and I worked with Desi Beatz Entertainment for our 3 Indian wedding events hosted in downtown DC. Along with Kabir as our lead DJ for all of our events, Desi Beatz also provided audio, uplighting, emceee and dhol services, and our photobooth. We decided to work with Desi Beatz early on in our planning process, and from the beginning, Kabir went above and beyond to support us. In addition to his own scope, Kabir also sent us recommendations for other wedding vendors; we ended up hiring another vendor based off his glowing recommendation and that vendor was fabulous as well. We couldn’t have asked for more from our experience working with Kabir. He patiently answered our questions about audio and lighting needs at our complex venues, attended multiple venue tours with us as we refined the event details, sent us sample music mixes for us to get a better sense of his DJ style, and cut our dance medley music tracks for us to use at our events. Kabir and his team executed flawlessly at all of our events. They were extremely professional and consistently anticipated the needs of our guests to keep our events lively and our dance floors full. During our reception, we were surprised with a live tabla player and foam glow sticks, courtesy of Desi Beatz. After the weekend, Kabir shared footage and compiled videos that highlighting our events. I would highly recommend Desi Beatz Entertainment for your event needs. Desi Beatzs did an AMAZING job DJing for our wedding at the peabody library. Kabir did a great job keeping us on schedule and making the right announcements during our ceremony and our reception. The Emcee also did an incredible job keeping our crowd excited without being overbearing. Once the dance floor opened up the DJ did an amazing job of playing tunes that got every single one of our guests dancing :) We cannot recommend him enough!

Kabir is an absolutely fantastic DJ. He was very communicative throughout the process leading up to our event, and diligently followed up many times even when we forgot to do many of our own items due to being so busy and preoccupied with other vendors. Music was amazing. He helped splicing and mixing our first dance song to the exact way we wanted. Every transitions were on time and on cue. He worked exactly perfect to the timeline and the plan that we build. He also enthusiastically incorporated some of our very niche club music that no one knows about, and pulled it off exceptionally. Once the dance floor opened, the energy never dipped. Seamless song transitions, perfect timing, and the kind of music selection that had every age group on the floor at the same time. He read the room flawlessly and adjusted the vibe like a pro. No awkward gaps, no dead air, no cheesy nonsense. Just straight heat all night. Many of our guests told us that they kept delaying their departure and returning to the dance floor because we kept getting such good songs. Professional, punctual, clean setup, good quality sound sound. His MC also handled every announcement smoothly without hijacking the spotlight, and did a great job building up hype, energy, and directing the flow of the event. We would hire again without thinking twice. What a great DJ MC team.

We had an incredible experience working with DJ DesiBeatz for our fusion Chinese Indian American wedding reception. From the very beginning, the team was so communicative and easy to work with. I worked closely with Kabir throughout the planning process—he answered every question, shared samples of what was possible, and made sure he fully understood the vibe we wanted. We utilized Desi Beatzs' services for my daughter's first birthday party and Kabir was so amazing! He is easy person to communicate to and always got back to me promptly. We had a mix of young and old crowd and everyone enjoyed all the music! Even my 1 year old daughter was dancing to his music! Highly recommend him for any event! Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. I think i know who ill be calling and reffering to for all my DMV DJ needs

We used Desi Beatzs for a recent event in our backyard celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. Matt is very professional and thorough. He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. We hired Kabir and his team for DJ and photography services. Kabir provided us with a lot of useful advice and guidance in planning the entertainment for our party. We were so lucky to have Kabir DJ at my sister's wedding in the greater Baltimore area. He was professional, timely, and extremely kind. He worked hard to make sure everyone from kids to our older guests had a great time. He accommodated our requests and helped us with all our needs. On the Mehndi, His friend played the Dhol and added that extra punjabi touch. On the Shaadi, he set up a projector screen so we could play a slideshow and give the couple an extra tribute. Everything was flawless and super organized!

We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party. His equipment is state of the art, the DJ booth setup was really cool, lighting was brilliant and he worked with us for the music and complied a fun bollywood list mixed with english numbers. Oh and he has this cool looking Jeep that he uses for mobile DJ events. We will call him again for sure.
