Finding a home in Silicon Valley is always challenging with the market being super competitive. It was doubly hard during Covid times as there were no open houses to research. We were looking to buy our first home around Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose areas. We heard about Manu from one of her ads on the Bay Area FM channels. Manu was super responsive right from the start and very easy to interact with - just a text/phone call away for any of our questions. With the current housing market, where most houses are listed only for a week, she was really prompt in scheduling viewings as well. We think this is a true necessity for anyone in the current buying market. If Manu was not able to make it to the viewing, we would always have someone from her team help us with the house viewing (though in most cases we would have Manu accompany us herself). She also got us disclosures before the scheduled viewing many a time as per our request which helped us get a good sense of the house condition before the visit. Being a bit detail oriented person who likes to understand what i am getting into, she dealt with me with patience and replied to all the questions with the best of her knowledge, when she was not aware of something she was not afraid to show her unawareness about it instead of giving half-baked information. Her recommendations about pre-approval contacts and lenders were great. She was a great liaison between me and the lenders/pre-approval contact, whenever required to clear any misunderstanding. Her team of lenders are also very professional and great. Manu also knows when to push her buyer clients and guide them to better their offer in subsequent tries so that the buyer gets the home. Though at first you would feel it is unnecessary, but in hindsight it is very important and should take such guidance with seriousness. Such push and guidance is definitely required to come to terms with the market conditions and submit a winning offer. I would give her a 5 star rating on all the following aspects: 1) Knowledge - Manu is extremely knowledgeable of the real estate market trends. She gave us very practical guidance on what to look out in a house when buying: how to read home evaluation reports quickly and find red flags, expected expenditure on fixing a house, how good are the schools, what amenities are available for kids in an area etc. Most importantly, she was pretty spot on in her guidance around how much to bid for a house. 2) Responsiveness - Manu responded to all our queries promptly.
