Finding a home in Silicon Valley is always challenging with the market being super competitive. It was doubly hard during Covid times as there were no open houses to research. With the current housing market, where most houses are listed only for a week, she was really prompt in scheduling viewings as well. We think this is a true necessity for anyone in the current buying market. If Manu was not able to make it to the viewing, we would always have someone from her team help us with the house viewing (though in most cases we would have Manu accompany us herself). Ravnish can get you a house in this seller market!! Ravnish was recommended by a relative who recently bought a house with him. He talked over the phone and he started sending me house listings. We have been going to open houses for a while ourselves. In a couple of weeks, I found one house that I liked. He sent me disclosures. We saw the house one more time with him in an evening. I gave an offer and got a multiple counter offer from the seller as there were two other buyers. I initially offered lower than what Ravnish thought the house would sell for as it was around the upper range of my budget. I increased the offer but not the amount that the seller wanted.
